  1. Why would the FO even give him the decision on which game to play during the Houston back to back. A monkey is smart enough to know you play the Houston game for a guaranteed win.

  2. I knew he would play in the jazz/clippers back to back. Would’ve been nice if he played the rockets game though

  3. Not playing in Houston on a minutes restriction and not signing someone to just be 6’10 and eat fouls was a horrible decision. That and how we are forced to put as much mileage as possible on him to play catch up at the end of year it’s just bad business

  4. LMAO bro the handling of AD has been so ASS this year….IDK if it’s Ham but not playing AD back to back is gonna bite us big time

  5. Our FO is incompetent, too late.

KAT and Anthony Edwards are back so mark that Game a L

  6. Funny. A week ago people were acting like his leg was going to fall off if he played against the Rockets but now that we are even more desperate, he can magically play back-to-backs. Could have really used this week ago!

  7. Well the season is on the line. Could sit out from April to October if he doesn’t play both.

  8. Wow a guy getting paid 39 million dollars is
Going to play basketball two days in a row .. I’m so impressed

  9. Play against the team they haven’t beaten in 3 years that will play 110% for Russ, yeah it’s a loss either way. Hopefully they just lose by 50 so AD can play half the game.

  10. Rather have that Houston and mavs game
Back. This is just the ending of our season and saving face

  11. You can’t tell me the lakers don’t care about media perception because what a cover up😂 “gave him a choice of which back to back”

  12. You see, the doctors calculated out that exactly 35min a game / the baseline humidity of the cities he’ll be in X the # of times he’ll jump and land = the he can play just one back to back w/o re-injuring the foot seriously.

    Modern medicine is amaze balls!

  13. Wild. We would have whooped Houston. Take the sure wins. Horrible choice he should have sat the clipper game.

  14. Lakers need to fire their publicist.
Ham: we anticipate all our players to play every game.
Also Ham: we planned it all along, AD sitting out back to backs. Always the game plan. Not up to the player.
Also also Ham: We gave him a choice of which back to back to play.

    Shitty communication.

  15. oh wow congratulations, much respect, playing back to back, basically doing us a favor to play 2 basketball games in 2 days….totally worth 40mil a year

  16. Okay so the reasoning was never sound if they’re reversing course on it. Either AD is *not medically cleared* to play B2Bs because it *isn’t safe*, or it’s just a (completely insane) choice.

Great that they’re changing their tune I guess but it means Ham and AD gave away multiple critical games that could make the difference in the end.

What a disappointing season and massive missed opportunity this year has been.

  17. May be a controversial opinion, but I’d rather go into the playoffs with a healthier AD and Lebron as a 9/10 seed overa hobbling AD in the 6/7/8 seed.

We are only going to go deep if he’s healthy. I’m not interested in a run where we get bounced right away.
