Slow is smooth and smooth is fast– Nikola Jokic fastbreak scoring montage

  1. He actually got up on some of those, and I definitely saw him cock it back one time.

  2. People say that he is slow, but with the ball he is actually pretty fast as a center which makes him best at the fastbreak situation

  3. this is cut to the same song they used in “Silence of the Lambs” when Buffalo Bill is glamming up and dancing in front of the mirror…

  4. Underrated is as people said, he’s faster than other centers. And even more importantly, his handles are good enough guards and forwards aren’t just picking his pocket when he’s pushing. Which allows him to abuse the mismatches

  5. I don’t think there’s anyway to convey how much of a revelation Jokic was after a decade of Nene, McGee, Koufus, and Mozgov…

  6. Y’all remember when Charles Barkley used to go coast to coast after getting a rebound? Awesome.

  7. Well I never thought I’d see a disc golf talking point/cliche on the front page of r/nba, but here we are.

Shout out Lauri Markannen and all the Finns.

(the disc golf version is fractionally different – slow is smooth, and smooth is far – but close enough)

  8. The faster you go the more you have to slow back down for road bumps and the road bumps aren’t going anywhere

  9. His turbo button is broken. On some those he is pushing off a guard from half court all the way to the hoop.

  10. Thing about jokic and lebron etc is 0 hesitation. He might be slow but his decision making is quick. Crazy when someone can think three moves ahead and already know what they are doing depending on your reaction.

  11. This is why I have never gotten the whole he is to slow thing. Yes he is slower than guards and wings but 80-90% of bigs are. But he is faster than pretty much all bigs except Giannis and maybe Bam but he was out running him at times during the playoffs.

  12. Did you finally get your old account banned Durk? Or just so desperate for attention you made a whole ass new account?

  13. “Goodbye Horses” is objectively the greatest song of all time and anyone who disagrees is a tasteless moron.

  14. He looks slow but he’s beating the other center down the court and that’s free buckets.
