10. Apparently it’s not one year in addition to the year left on his contract, it’s a one year deal replacing what he currently has, so this gets him back to playing for the season but doesn’t change anything regarding free agency potential next offseason

22. I know I’m in the minority but I’m not a huge fan of this. It just raises the cost for his tag next year while rewarding him for being a shithead.

24. The incentives will help make up for the money he lost out on but it goes against our cap. This was a bad move by him. I’m glad the distraction is over though and let’s get him back on the field.

27. Finally. I am glad we can now stop talking about this at least until next off season. He is going to be 30 next season so unless chris jones come down on his asking price. We can trade him then and have a bunch of cap space and draft capital to work with.

28. Too bad we couldn’t work out a longer-term deal, but he is turning 30 next year and we have cap issues, so it may be for the best in the long run.
