  1. > Minnesota Wild President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Bill Guerin today announced the National Hockey League (NHL) club has signed forward Mason Shaw to a two-way contract ($775,000/$400,000) for the remainder of the 2023-24 season and reassigned forward Adam Beckman to the Iowa Wild of the American Hockey League (AHL). Shaw will practice with Minnesota on Friday, Feb. 16, at TRIA Rink in St. Paul.

  2. So glad he’s back, let’s hope he’s ready. Really looking forward to a Shaw-Dewey1-Dewey2 4th line, also Shaw and Dewar were lethal when killing penalties together last season (3 goals for, 3 goals against).

  3. YES YES YES.

I had read reports that he needed to clear waivers. I feel like that’s not actually the case, do we have solid confirmation one way or another?

  4. That’s great and all… but I gotta feel for Beckman at this point. At least he got a few days of NHL salary instead of the $70k/season in the A.

  5. You knew it had to happen. Probably the best forward in Iowa since he came back. He deserves this.

  6. So glad Shaw is back, hopefully he can stay and stay healthy, he was my favorite player last year

Wish Beckmann could have been given a shot being called up for 5 games this year

  7. I am so incredibly happy right now seeing this! I adore Shawzy and everything he has done for himself to make a comeback 😍

  8. What an absolute warrior. At minimum, he’s going to bring a ton of energy and if he can resume what he did last year, he’ll be a valuable PK addition too. So happy to see him fight his way back again!
