[Russo] Now that #mnwild 2019 2nd-round pick Vladislav Firstov’s KHL season is over, it wouldn’t surprise me if he returns to finish season in Iowa. Former UConn standout had 17 goals and 35 points in 67 games for Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod. If he comes back, good sign he wants to be NHLer

He sees Khusnut-dewey make the leap and wants to come play with Papa Kirill too.
That’s gotta be a good sign for repairing the relationship.
Vladislav Firstov: Schroedinger’s Wild Prospect
Firstov, I think it’s great that he’s coming over. Second, I had to do it.
Unlike Khusnutdinov, Firstov was loaned to the KHL. He is in his second year of his 3 year, $925k ELC ($70k in Iowa) contract with the Wild, so I don’t think we need Torpedo to terminate his contract early to bring him over.
I hope that the relationship can be fixed and it was just the type of thing where he didn’t get along with Army.
Firstov, wild should bring him over.
Secondov, they should put him on a line with the other russians.
Why would he go back?
