  1. Just counting the days until we’re actually eliminated and we call Wallstedt up to see what we got. Really all we have to look forward to at this point

  2. In the end it isn’t about the destination.. it’s about the journey and the friends we made along the way.

Jk. On to the next one.

  3. I know it’s end of season but I didn’t like the line with Johansson with Boldy and Eriksson Ek. Didn’t look or play well together. Hope Colorado loses in the playoffs too! Can’t stand them

  4. Nothing really to say at this point. The season’s been cooked for a few weeks now. At least I don’t have to get my hopes up anymore

  5. Will fans ever make Leipold notice? Probably not. Minnesota is the best team to never succeed in the NHL from a business standpoint. Tons of fans to sellout the season that will be there every year so no reason to really excite fans

  6. I guess it’s getting close to figure out who I’m rooting for in this year’s playoffs… This wild season is pretty much done. And I do love me some playoff hockey tho.

  7. A normal comment would be “you can’t win them all, on to the next one, we’ve been goalied by a goaltender we didn’t know the name before the game”, problem is that the “next one” games have finished. I know we’re not mathematically out (and arguably we haven’t been in the hunt since a gouple games) but this game feels like the classical last nail in the coffin of the 2023/24 Minnesota Wild season. This season has clearly shown that the biggest hole cap hell has brought was depth. Once middle six players stopped playing out of their mind and injuries kept our top talent out of the lineup we realized how short our bench was. To be clear only two players (Rossi and Faber) are on pace to play 82 games and the fact that they’ll be eating a lot of cap hell with their extension isn’t promising in the short term. One last thing: the smallest, pettiest hill I will die on defending our flag is that our record is 36/29/10 with 81 points, the fact that we forfeited a loser point didn’t make that game a regulation loss, also there’s nothing explicitly written in the rulebook that says so.
