very very smart player that’s the name of his game it’s all about the IQ he’s a 5f foot 11 Center and yet has been able to play center at an early age against men and that’s because of just smarts and knowhow he knows where to be on the ice very positional player he works and goes and gets pucks I spoke with oie oan for a feature I did about him oie oenin was his coach this season in Finland and obviously had a pretty excellent NHL career of his own uh and oie sort of compared him to the great defensive ERS that we’ve seen uh in recent years he used words like pav datsuk and Alexander barov that’s sort of the bread and butter of his game is winning back pucks stick lifts stealing pucks and then just being super super smart with the puck on offense
