Courtland Sutton REVEALS If He will Attend Denver Broncos Mandatory Minicamp As He Seeks New Deal!

Will courland Sutton be present for Denver Broncos mandatory mini camp June 11th through June 13th this has been a subject of conversation here in the mile high city for some time as Sutton has not been present for any of the Broncos voluntary offseason workouts as he seeks new money on his contract we’ve talked about ad nauseum on this channel how Sutton only has $2 million of guaranteed money left on his deal and that’s all in 2024 he has no guaranteed money left on his deal through 2025 so if he were to get injured he would have no Financial protections that’s an issue it’s been reported by ESPN Jeremy Fowler that Sutton is looking to get his deal raised up to about 15 to6 million per year I think that if that were really the case that would have already happened but Sutton has put this topic a little bit to rest because he spoke on the dmvr podcast today and he said that he will be at mandatory mini camp so so there was going to be a chance that if Sutton did not show up for mandatory mini camp that the Denver Broncos could find him I do sympath I do sympathize with courtand Sutton about wanting more money on his deal because of the fact that I want him to be protected in the event that he gets injured but I’ve also been vocal in saying that I feel like his approach to this is a little bit misguided in the fact that I at least want him in the building building that chemistry that camaraderie and that relationship with Bo Knicks because at some point in 2024 it may not be week one but I think it will be B Nick is going to be the starter for the Denver Broncos and you want courland Sutton and B to get that chemistry get that camaraderie learn how Sutton wants certain routes run learn Bon Nick’s Cadence learn just little intricate stuff like that that you can only learn through reps on the football field and even if Sutton weren’t participating in most of the on the field drills he could be running a few routes on the side at the end of practice with B Knicks that’s something that’s very much in play and I was frustrated with Sutton not being present now at least he’s going to be in the building probably participating in on the field activities he may kind of tamper it down until his financial demands get met but he will at least be in the building and to kind of tamper my concerns about bonix and Courtland Sutton not getting that relationship built bonix and courand Sutton have at least spoken kland Sutton said that he reached out to Bo right after he got drafted said he gave him some insight uring his rookie year he also said I think B brings a lot of good qualities to our team I’m looking forward to getting out there to work with him so that implies that Sutton will be participating in on the field activities he’s not just going to show up to the building just to avoid getting find so it seems that Sutton is committed and he’s all in which is good news there Sutton also spoke out about Russell Wilson for the first time and him getting benched and then subsequently cut by the Denver Broncos he said it was a tough pill to swallow you see the writing on the wall you hear the murmurs that things are going to happen in the back of your mind you hope they don’t happen he also said that he really hopes that Russell Wilson does well in Pittsburgh next year and that he gets quote a bad rap so we all know that Russell Wilson and courland Sutton had that strong chemistry and that strong relationship both on and off the field and courland Sutton felt a certain type of way when the Denver Broncos elected to bench Russ you could see his kind of body language in those last couple of games with Jarrett stum out there he just didn’t feel like he really was all in with Jarrett stum here’s hoping that b Knicks can finally stop the Bronco’s quarterback Carousel and in turn sto courland Sutton’s quarterback carousel courland Sutton’s first starting quarterback in Denver was Case Keenum in 2019 and just think about the amount of quarterbacks the Broncos have cycled through since then Joe flacko Brandon Allen Drew lock Jeff Driscoll kindall Hinton Philip Lindsay Teddy Bridgewater Jared stum Russell Wilson Brett rippen I mean and I’m I’m probably missing one somewhere there that’s how bad it’s been in terms of how many different quarterbacks that courland Sutton played with I don’t blame him for looking for some sort of stability there and he thought that he had found it in Russell Wilson when the Broncos first traded for him and it just sucks that that never worked out on several different levels but with Russell Wilson and courland Sutton they’re always going to have that relationship and I don’t think that the trade rumors of courland Sutton to the Pittsburgh Steelers from the national media perspective is going to stop until Courtland Sutton gets some sort of financial resolution to his demands here in Den and I do think that’s going to happen I do think the Denver Broncos are going to give courland Sutton some more money but I also feel like there’s a strong chance that courland Sutton may have the final year of his deal shaved off so he would be a free agent at the end of this year allowing some other team out there to pay him the money that he is demanding I think that’s the most reasonable solution to this to get courland Sutton back into the fold full full-blown committed and just resolve this and do right by Portland Sutton that’s what I’m ultimately hoping for as well is the Broncos do write by Sutton and give him some financial protection in the event that he gets injured I don’t want Sutton to go out there get hurt and then be completely screwed because he didn’t have those financial protection so the Broncos gives courland some more guaranteed money and then let him walk at the end of the year that is my most that probably the most reasonable solution at least in my eyes all right Broncos country I am curious how do you guys feel about the news that courland
