I’ve not been watching hockey but it looks like the Rangers, Panthers, Golden Knights and most teams(?) are playing 5on5 like the Penguins of yesteryears and that this style of play only changes on PPs. This is so boring. NHL needs bigger ice.
Stu Stinker is horrid. Whole team reeks.
Great to see the oilers reach the Stanley cup final on behalf of Canada. The energy from their fan base is outstanding. They may have stood a chance if they pulled that goalie of theirs.

This forecheck is way too much for the Oilers D. They have talent but need to get rid of Ceci and Nurse to have a legit contender. Surprised they could beat Dallas this year.
This is the best team the Oilers will ice and forgot about getting back here. The Knights, Canucks, Avs, and Stars will all retool, ensuring they never get back to the second round again.
McDavid and his toady Leon are jokes who must have the ‘superstar’ descriptor stripped.

Skinner sucks, nurse sucks, and ceci sucks. Bouchard is another liability defensively. Oilers have almost zero secondary scoring. This is one of the worst SCF teams in the modern era. The Canadiens were better when they made the finals.

How did they beat the Stars??
Skinner has his ups and downs. Unfortunately his downs are when they need him most. The second goal is so deflating and it caused the oilers to risk things they wouldn’t have if it was still tied.
Oilers D under fire as they should be, but it’s been a 180 on the defensive efforts by the forwards this series too, which is why they were winning the earlier series’. The back check from them ought to be criminalized, in a SCF game of all things too.
I think this series is probably the closest thing I’ve ever seen to total domination in an SCF. Forwards, D, goaltending, coaching, even the mentality and desperation. Glad to see the Oilers get dumped on and I get to say I’ve been right all these years, but damn it’s almost not even fun anymore, just sad
That’s a fucking embarrassing goal to give up in the finals. How did these amateurs make it this far.
Edmonton has really let Canada down in a big way. Go the Panthers
…and FLA know they can lure him out with dumb & chase. It only needs to work once per game to throw off EDM emotionally.
