Didn’t Max Pacioretty literally say he didn’t want to come to the Rangers? It was picked up on a hot mic during the Washington series.
Getting him solves literally none of their current problems. Getting another mid/bad RW is like getting a bandaid to try to fix a bullet hole. This team needs a true 1RW if they want to succeed.
Unless we do some moving around it’ll be tough to get a winger. Goodrow probably has to go, and we can’t sign lindgren to a contract.
as long as they make some type of big move even if it’s a gamble i’ll be able to smoke the copium needed to be excited again next fall. that’s all I want
I still think Kapenen would work great in our Bottom 6. He’s fast which helps the breakout, and while he isn’t particularly known for points, he is still good player.
Ardvisson makes a ton of sense. Will prob come cheapish on a 1 year deal to prove he can stay healthy, if not it forces nyr to use internal options. He might be small but he’s a dog on the puck. Plus he had his best years & broke into the league under Lavy in Nashville.
I know I’m beating a dead horse here, but that Pavel Buchnevich trade 2021, just seems more and more stupid as time passes by.
We have been missing a RW1 since the, and haven’t really done anything to fix it in the long run. Sure we flipped some picks for players come playoff time, but that’s basically rentals. I truly believe we could have signed him because he was a RFA, and we knew he was great with Kreider and Zib, by far Drury’s worst mistake. That enormous Trouba contract biting us in the ass since then. I’m not saying that we would be guaranteed to win a cup with Buch on this team, but it would have fixed our most glaring problem.
Toffoli would fit bc he’s proven he can do it in the playoffs.
But I didn’t see the rest of the article. Does it mention that the Rangers need North/South slot area players or physically power forwards?
