seem to be able to check their swings when it comes to chasing that uh that big sweeper off the plate there’s his first K yeah that one had a little vertical drop to it that the spinker I think so tried to look at the grip as he was letting it go I think it was fell off one right down below the bat sliders and they have to start swinging at it maybe then he starts getting all the chases what was that spinker spinker slider spinker yeah that’s what it was so now two strikeouts for the last three batters he’s faced to steer got him spinker five of his last six outs have been recorded via the strikeout and he comes back and gets him with what looked like that combo Sinker splitter this is just a devastating pitch watch this watch where the ball starts and then eventually ends up I mean it starts as you’re if you’re a hitter and you’re looking out there you think okay oh off speed all right well at least it’s going to stay on the on the plate somewhere that Ball’s two ends up two balls below the strike zone that is devastating for a Big League hitter and down on strikes he’s faced two hitters he struck them both out in his major league debut against the Cubs on May the 11th he struck out seven and here’s the split what we call spinker uh 94 with all that movement just doesn’t seem fair look at the movement there b just uh looks like it’s down the middle when it leaves his hand that splitter and it just takes off to the right he gets him man it’s amazing to me how well he controls that split looks like he can throw it wherever he wants to that’s what does seven K three in a row now for [Applause] him one 22y old to another again watch the movement watch it take off it just runs and runs and runs away and there’s a strike out of Ramos to begin the fifth inning couple bad looking swings in that at bat and again the split the spinker as we like to call it and um yeah he’s nowhere close to that no chance he has faced four Cubs he has struck out each of them to begin his day he he stays with a spinker right here and this one in the bigger part of the plate down below the Zone if he can keep that thing down you’ll see on the Ahn super mode look at the action on this the sideways tumble Spin and then right there about 5T in front of the plate starts to dip down he’s got another strikeout second time he’s gotten talkman he has punched out eight of the first 10 he’s faced he’s going back to the split here sped him up and then look at the action of that split there starting on the Outer Edge out her third turns it over really nice just runs out of bat
