Cheechoo in San Jose with Joe feeding him pucks to tap in. Jim Carey was also a 1 season wonder for the caps and took a Vezina only to be hot garbage every season after.
Jeff Cowan for the Canucks. From his Wikipedia:
* Towards the end of his first season with Vancouver, Cowan rose to brief prominence, scoring an unexpected 6 goals in 4 games.[3] During that span, a bra was thrown on the ice after his second goal of the game against the Tampa Bay Lightning, coining the moniker “Cowan the Bra-barian”. The unique celebration was popularized among fans and in response, the entire Canucks team signed a bra that was auctioned to raise money for breast cancer research.[4]*
Andrew Hammond.
John Druce in the 1990 playoffs. 14 goals in 15 games from a guy who averaged 0.21 gpg in his career and never scored more than one goal in any other postseason.
It’s too early to say Brown fits this title.

I don’t think it quite fits, but during the Hawks runs, Andrew Shaw was a key player that just caused havoc. Still think his head butt goal should have been allowed.
Fernando Pisani. Scored 14 goals and 4 assists in 24 games during the Oilers run to the 2006 Stanley Cup Final. He had a career high of 18 goals and 37 points in the regular season the same year.
John Druce and Ville Leino come to mind
Ville Leino 2010 playoffs.
Bill Muckalt. He had a decent rookie start with the Canucks, even leading all rookies in scoring early in the season. He finished the season with solid stats, trailing only Markus Naslund, Alex Mogilny, and Mark Messier in points for the team.
He never reached those totals again and bounced around the league before retiring, playing just five seasons in the NHL with four teams.
A shoulder injury ended his career but he was already on shaky ground by then; his last injury-free season only saw 8 points (no goals) in 70 games.
Oddly enough, his final season (when his career-ending injury happened) had him averaging a point per game for the only time in his career.
Today, he coaches college hockey.

Devante Smith-Pelly.. Dude won the cup for the capitals then realized hey I’m not supposed to be this elite 30 goal guy lol.. love me some DSP
So he went on to have a decent career after the run, but I’d say Justin Schultz peaked on the 2017 pens cup run. Letang was injured for a good bit of the season and was out the entire playoffs; Schultz comfortably stepped into the 1D position and hit 51 points in the season. He then went on to set his career high in postseason points at 13, including some clutch goals against the caps. He’s still a decent player so it’s not like he’s never been heard from again, but he’s never been as dominant as he was in that period

Why is Connor Brown pictured? He has multiple 20 goal seasons.
How in hell did PK Subban win the Norris.

He alleges there’s a bit of racism towards Asian Americans in basketball.
