Dallas Keuchel is on a minors deal. Since 2021, he has a 6.29 ERA in the majors in 56 games. This year, a 3.93 ERA in AAA, though a 1.61 ERA the last five starts. Sinker averages 87.3 mph and still gets grounders. Changeup gets some whiffs. [via Curt Hogg]

Btw it was for Cash. Not bad for a 36 year old arm lol
The Brewers’ habit of spinning straw into gold with pitchers has me way more optimistic that he’ll contribute than I have any reason to be
Let us cook
Oh no
Boo I wanted Greinke
An arm to throw innings so our valuable pitchers don’t get worn out as quickly. It isn’t Greinke, but he’ll do.
Hopefully ends up like Teheran last year and eats innings and usually gives us a chance to win. No risk all reward not giving up any prospects, totally worth a shot.
this is a total he’s throwing all sinkers and getting grounders at will and letting this elite Brewers D play behind him.
Watch him pitch to like a 3 something ERA solely because of great Defense.
A very Brewer move. An old has been that will cost nothing. Hopefully he won’t be trash as it worked well with Wade Miley.
DUDE THIS GUY IS GONNA CARRY US TO THE PLAYOFFS! ( where we lose in the first round again )
For real though, had to do something.
Was released by a minor league team. Guess they are hoping for a pitching lab miracle
I wanted him a few years ago as a free agent. My favorite pitchers to watch are “crafty” ones who pitch to contact.
I had no idea he was even still pitching…
if he can throw a baseball forward, we can use him
For some reason it reminds me of andrew chafin pick up last year. Hopefully this pans out a little bit better
Our lab saw the chemicals and knew they had the recipe can’t wait to see Dallas work his way to WS with us
