  1. >QB Daniel Jones

Everyone knew this name would be on the list. Not much to say, but WK1 and it is what it is and the end of the season.

    >OT Evan Neal

Kind of the same thing for Neal as Daniel to a lesser extent. Not much to say for guy other than get healthy and be ready to step out there do good things. Lineman like OT do can have longer development(s) when coming into the league but we aren’t trying to wait 4 seasons to see him blossom either.

    >CB Cor’Dale Flott

    >There’s enough to like about Flott’s game. He’s a natural football player who doesn’t hesitate to stick his nose into the action, which doesn’t always serve him well healthwise, as he’s suffered some dings due to that.

    >He’s an aggressive press corner with more than enough catch-up speed to match up with anyone, and he plays with instinct and toughness.

    >Durability concerns aside, there are some other areas in his game Flott needs to clean up. Last year, he finished third on the Giants defense in penalties with five (two declined), two of which resulted in first downs for the opponent.

    >The two penalties that were accepted involved illegal contact, suggesting that Flott may have lost track of where he was on the field regarding the permissible contact zone at times.

    >Flott also saw his missed tackles , another area he needs to clean up. There are some other things he’ll need to continue working on, but Giants defensive backs coach Jerome Henderson said he was pleased with the progress being made by the former LSU defender.

Of course Flott will be his own player in the long run but he’s got some of that Darnay Holmes going with the PI thing in defense. A young corner though he still got some time to show more, one of the bigger things is that we are still really feeling out our CB starters, so Flott is in a bit of a limbo with the rest of the young secondary people like Phillips and Nubin. Still if you’re on this list, we’re probably hoping to see better things out the play this upcoming season.

Edit: The site only let’s us quote so much before it bugs out so I just cut it down to Flott’s, since he’s a name that isn’t as saturated with critiques. The article is a decent read through and is pretty even about it.

  2. Daniel Jones will be facing the most pressure because our OL sucks ass.
