Nats fans were saaaaalty in their post game thread last night lol (don’t go comment, but looking is free). Just like their thin skinned players, they apparently don’t like when other teams are *checks notes* excited
on the plane to fly to san diego as we speak 🥳 very excited to see the park, hopefully today’s game is as exciting as the last two lol
I didn’t expect this exciting of a series with the Nationals, but I subscribe to it. Hopefully we get good Dylan Cease today and can wrap up a rare sweep.
Got to be there last night and man it was an unbelievable atmosphere. Such a fun game. Sweep them up today Padres!!!

I was thinking… what would a Profar extension look like? I think his clubhouse presence alone is worth extending him. and obviously with him being 32 next year, he won’t be super expensive, but what would be a mutually beneficial contract for both the team and him?

Cease absolutely needs to shove today. Not only to maintain the run this team is on before heading back out on the road, but for himself too. A 6.69 ERA and a 1.60 WHIP in his last seven outings. Yikes man.
The Nats broadcast is trash too. Well at least the color commentator. Game 1 after they scored the runs in the 10th they said the crowd was gonna be quiet now, that yeah it was packed but only for fireworks and now for sure some people are gonna leave.
Then last night it’s like they were happy the benches cleared and then when profar got hit they said “it’s just his leg come on!”… Many homers and there is just a beautiful “oh no…” then they complain Manny was just walking to first and how the bench was over celebrating by all coming out to greet profar and manny.
De Vries hit a bomb last night. If another GM even brings him or Salas up, Preller needs to hang up the phone.
