Tyrese Haliburton on Mikal Bridges now playing for Tom Thibodeau: “Mikal Bridges has missed like no games… We’re testing the human ability here, because we’re getting— Mikal Bridges don’t miss any games, and Thibs almost play him 48 minutes, so who’s gonna win”

  1. With the amount of depth we have I don’t think anyone will actually play huge minutes next season tbh

  2. Hali lowkey is also pretty injury prone, he’s throwing stones from glass houses

  3. If they keep OG, there will be no need for Bridges to play that many minutes with Divincenzo and Hart backing them up

  4. OG got hurt for playing too many minutes lol. Idk why that line irked me more than anything. That fucking pleb didn’t watch a minute of basketball last season

  5. Before Jan 8 (when Hali got hurt), he was playing 34mpg. The only Knicks to play more minutes in that same span are Brunson (35.9mpg), Randle (35.6mpg), and OG (34.5mpg in 4 games). Everyone else was under 30. But yeah Thibs was running them into the ground and that’s why Tyrese got hurt during the season and conference finals

  6. Didn’t he just steal the “testing the human ability” line from a tweet

  7. This is the correct take really. We are about to test the real durability of Bridges.

  8. Knicks fans getting in their feels every time Hali breathes gotta be the funniest (and saddest) shit I’ve seen on here lmao. All they talk about is grit then get butthurt when someone makes a harmless joke

  9. Hali is right. Mikal’s body is going to disintegrate with Thibs goofy rotations

  10. Daily reminder that no Knick averaged more than 35.5 mins per game on the season.
