Ravens Roster Is Still Among the NFL’s Best | Baltimore Ravens Final Drive
[Music] there’s been plenty of talk the last few months about what the Ravens have lost this off season no doubt the Ravens have had some notable departures but there have also been some key additions none bigger than star running back Derrick Henry the Ravens have confidence in this group and it is still one of the best rosters in football ESPN recently put out a list ranking the best rosters in the league and the Ravens came in at number three behind Kansas City and San Francisco I think that spot makes a lot of sense just go through this roster and look at all the talent defensively the Ravens may have the best defensive Trio in the entire league with Kyle Hamilton roquan Smith and Justin matab I put those three guys up against anybody else in the NFL the secondary is rock solid as well and I think it could be even better this season with Marcus Williams and Marlon Humphrey healthy again on the offensive side the addition of Derek Henry is going to be massive for this team and I think that he still has plenty of gas left in the tank the combo at tight end between Mark Angeles and Isaiah likely might be the best one-two punch at tight end in the league at wide receiver Z flowers had a terrific rookie season and I expect him to take a big leap in year two and oh yeah there’s one other guy that I forgot to mention so far that would be the two-time MVP Lamar Jackson he’s one of the very best players in the entire league he showed that once again last year and I think he’s only going to continue to improve in the second year of this offense under offensive coordinator Tom monin with Lamar at quarterback the Ravens are going to continue to be one of the best teams in football and I fully expect that to be the case again this year I can’t wait to see how this all plays out over the course of this season that’s it for me on final drive today but thanks for watching we’ll see all of you again tomorrow [Music] [Music]
Much of the focus this offseason has been on the Ravens’ losses, but ESPN still ranked them No. 3 among best rosters.
