  1. Omg 2 of my favorite players getting drafted to the Timberwolves I won’t miss a single game.

  2. Not really a fan of him.

Feel like he mostly just bullied dudes with his size and physical maturity. Also a brutally bad passer.

  3. This guy should have been a top 10 pick, this is an amazing draft for us

  4. Lottery talent. Legal troubles are acquitted. Could be the steal of the draft.

  5. Illinois fan who has been to several games. This guy got his jersey in the rafters after 1 season. And he deserves it. Will be a great 8th or 9th man.

  6. I like the pick. Could step in right away and contribute off the bench. There’s some defensive potential here too

  7. Oh man, this is a controversial pick. Regardless we’re winning it all next year

  8. Transition demon and a good defender the pick is cool. Wanted Baylor for the shooting tho

  9. Man they addressed for sure their two biggest needs. Shannon at 27 feels crazy to me.

  10. I don’t understand how this happened tonight. I wasn’t even going to watch the draft. Holy hell.

  11. Die hard Illinois fan here. I’ve been saying for months now that he would be a perfect fit with you guys. I’m a Pacers fan but you guys just became my western conference team. If you all have any hesitation based on his court case I encourage you to read up on all of the evidence and see how he is 100% innocent and falsely accused.

  12. Illini fan here. Good defender. Amazing in the open court. Improved his shot every year. Needs to tighten his handle quite a bit. Also, a good kid.

  13. Remember when everyone was freaking out cause they never thought we’d never have a draft pick again after the Rudy trade?

  14. Is this where we say like everyone says “I can’t believe he was still there at ___.” ?

  15. Shannon was a national player of the year favorite until he got accused of being a little rapey.. sounds like he recently was acquitted after testifying in his own defense.

  16. Disappointed that when he was drafted abc/espn the first mention is his rape allegations before any other positive basketball accomplishments.
