  1. Watching his highlights right now for the first time.

Aight I’ve seen enough, let’s get him to the All Star game. Buying his jersey rn

  2. Another player that knows German. What a crew their putting together. LFG Magic!!!

  3. Was the guy I wanted the most throughout the entire process. Should fit in perfectly as our first or second wing off the bench.

One of the guys we wanted and ORL got him 🔥 6’8 WOS 6’9 in shoes welt cooked

  5. This is a great pick. I’ve seen him play a few times, and he was annoying to play against.

Good shooter – both FT and 3. Tall. Can play good defense. Makes good decisions. Is unselfish.

I didn’t know he was German tho. Wagner bros gotta love that lol.

  6. He’s ok, hope he can just hit when open. Probably doesn’t see the floor once this year tho. Houstan gonna get burn at the bench wing probably

  7. I like the pick. Another German boy. He seems pretty NBA ready. Looks like him and Franz know each other already.

  8. Why does Orlando get NO airtime? Went straight to commercial. No one talked about our pick? How Orlando will do this year. How Di Silva will play with the Wagner Brothers(Germany)/ Paoul…nothing! NBA has no respect for Orlando.

  9. Real nice role player we can play at reserve 3 off the bench. Glue guy, he’s not going to take over a game but he will make the right passes and knock down open 3s.

  10. Everyone talking bout how he is german, ok..

But the brother is also half Brazilian.

His Brazilian father was a former boxer who settled down in germany.

  11. Really good pick. Only thing better would have been McCain if he fell.

I had Kolek ahead of Tristan but only because of fit. Honestly, I can’t argue that he was not the best pick at the spot. No where near the highest ceiling of who’s on the board but definitely has the highest floor. Just a really smart, connector guy who doesn’t make a lot of mistakes.

  12. The Jaime Jaquez pick of this draft. Older, ready to go player. In a draft full of meh, this is a solid move. Figuring we needed to replace Ingles and Jett is still a question mark, this was the right move. I personally wanted Ware but since he was no longer on the board I think this works.

  13. The few scouting reports I’ve read gives me “Kyle Anderson that can shoot” vibes. Sounds like a win at 18 in this draft.

  14. Wonder what it would have cost to move up a couple slots to get Knecht. Think that guy is a baller and he slid pretty far.

  15. If we can get decent minutes out of an 18th pick, I’ll be happy. We have a terrible track record with none lotto picks so hopefully this one is different.

  16. Great pick up, in the pressers Weltman emphasized they would not sacrifice their North Star when it came to additions to the team and Da Silva fits the mold.

While im hoping he gets to be apart of the rotation this season, he’ll have to earn that opportunity.

  17. I’m kinda worried about his frame. He’s 23 but very skinny, which is something you normally associate with the 19 year olds. That said, I love his shot. He has a quick release which I have been a huge fan of since I first saw Dell Curry play, so I expect him to be a great NBA shooter. Also, it appears he is really smart and has a high basketball IQ, which is a great asset to have. The question is does he take minutes from Howard or does he go to the G League until he can catch up?
