Can people go on a hike to Everest Base camp in July ?

Trekking in July in Nepal can be challenging due to the monsoon season, which brings heavy clouds and rain. Flights to and from Lukla are frequently canceled during this time. However, if you plan to trek to Everest Base Camp in July, it is possible with some buffer days. If flights are unavailable, you can either wait for another day or walk to Salleri, which takes a day from Lukla. From Salleri, you can drive back to Kathmandu, requiring two extra days at the end of the trek. Despite the challenges, trekking in July offers the advantage of peaceful and beautiful surroundings.

  1. Go to the north side through Tibet then. Maybe find the right sub for this as well. 😂
