Jaguars $1.4B Stadium Renovation *CONFIRMED* with new renderings

well ladies and gentlemen we do have an update regarding the Jacksonville Jaguars new stadium situation it’s finally been announced it’s official with the full timeline we’re going to go through it and there are some new renderings that really show that this is an open air Stadium behind one of the end zones it’s completely open you can see what’s next they’re going to be playing at EverBank stadium for the next two years I do think there will be Renovations ongoing but they’re not going to be reducing the capacity the major construction starts in 2026 where they will have a limited capacity of about 43k I believe that’s around 17,000 less than they would normally have and then they will be playing a year at an alternate venue originally last year it came out it was going to be two years they’ve cut it down to one year with limited capacity in 2026 because there’s really not a good answer in Jacksonville when comes to a stadium there’s also been reports something came out back in May about two finalists for the Jaguars temporary home you can see Stadium of the future the renovation will be complete in 2028 and so the new rendering the main one that I saw you can see I mean behind the one end zone you’ve got the massive video board but look at how much of that is open just open clean air coming through way more open air than Sofi has and all also the roof very clear it’s definitely going to be more of a Sofi type translucent roof where it’s really clear and it actually lets sunlight come in onto the field now the sunlight is going to be dimmed as it passes through that translucent roof but still I do like that they are going with that another interesting thing I’m not sure if they are chopping off some of the rows of seating in the upper deck I don’t think so but the original renderings that we saw when the Jaguars were playing they had that curtain that I think a lot of people missed that would be covering up like the top five or six rows of seating in the upper deck so I don’t know if they’re getting rid of those rows I would imagine they’re not they’re they’re probably keeping them but the idea is for the Jaguars I guess because their attendance is not the best they would be able to cover those rows up with a curtain I think that’s not very good especially when it comes to a brand new stadium renovation showing renderings with you actively covering up seats with the brand new stadium but obviously this is a stadium that’s going to want to host the Super Bowl I’m sure they will get at least one Super Bowl Jacksonville the weather is exactly what the NFL is looking for when it comes to Super Bowl hosts and you’re also going to have a brand new stadium with not a totally controlled climate but there’s going to be no precipitation because you do have the roof on top so I would imagine the early 2030s they’ll at least get one Super Bowl with this renovation Happening by 2028 and the total cost is 1.4 billion everything was agreed upon believe it’s around a 6040 split with the public paying around 60% for the stadium a lot of people not happy about that we just had the other news come out about the Carolina Panthers obviously their situation I think is a lot worse than the Jaguars the stadium the exterior the nice Chrome design uh it’s very nice and it’s definitely something that I think is a worth wild investment as opposed to what the Panthers are doing investing about half of what the Jaguars are when I look at EverBank stadium and and Bank of America Stadium they’re very similar I would say right now Bank of America Stadium is slightly better than EverBank but when you’ve got EverBank getting a$ 1.4 billion renovation versus the the $800 million renovation they’re definitely doing a better thing and I think this is going to last a lot longer in terms of its shelf life as a potential top 15 Stadium just because it’s got such a beautiful exterior and then obviously the translucent roof is not going to hurt I would imagine also they’re going to be replacing all of the seating putting in new seats that seems very likely as well now when it comes to where the Jaguars could potentially go for the one year in 2027 it was reported about a month ago that the Jaguars might go to Orlando and Camping World Stadium or they might go to Gainesville and play at the College Stadium the interesting thing about both of these stadiums they are both due for major Renovations and it would be a lot different atmosphere at a college Stadium versus Camping World Stadium Camping World stadium is kind of weird it doesn’t host a ton of events it does have a bigger capacity but it definitely needs a renovation I think their entire upper deck is just bleachers so that would not work in terms of Hosting you know eight or nine home games for an NFL team although I would imagine it’s going to be eight because the Jaguars basically Al always play one of their home games in London so I’d imagine it’ be eight home games but that’s neither here nor there I would expect right now I would say they’re probably going to Camping World Stadium a lot of this comes down to the renovations the original renovation that Camping World Stadium wanted was around $800 million they had to scale it back because they couldn’t get the money now they want like a $400 million renovation with no overhangs and potentially with that upcoming within the next two or three years that could lure the Jaguars to Orlando for at least a season although I did mention you know Florida is also getting a huge renovation of around $400 million there were a few different potential renderings a few overhang designs that were thought of I think it’s possible that they could go to Florida based on this renovation to the swamp I guess it’ll depend how like is the entire Stadium still going to be bleachers or are they going to change and actually put some of the seats in I would imagine they are and I would imagine behind one of the end zones they will be renovating it and adding a bar area so those are both legitimate options considering both of the stadiums are getting Renovations I actually think benh Hill Griffin Stadium could be potentially better in terms of after it gets the renovation but this is all something that I’m sure will be resolved within the next year maybe two years on where they will be playing in 2027 another quick thing I wanted to talk about this is the first time I’ve seen this this is a shot of the renderings for Ryan Field the new one of the newest college football stadiums I think the only Stadium that’s being constructed right now Northwestern will be playing their home games at alternate sites over the next two years but this is the first rendering I’ve seen with no fans and I I really do like the purple seats this Stadium reminds me a lot of Baylor Stadium it is very generic but you can understand that the capacity looks decent and it’s definitely way better than the old Ry field based on the Big 10 their expansion how good all most of those programs are I’m sure they said listen you got to upgrade this Stadium it’s terrible it’s like mac level the old Ryan Field so this is was definitely much needed and it does look very nice although a few of these newer College stadiums they do look very generic there’s not a lot of same thing with Minnesota I mean Minnesota they built their new stadium back in like 2009 and it’s also pretty generic although new College stadiums are extremely rare normally it’s just renovation after renovation after renovation when you get a new College Stadium it is something to note and the construction on that has already started you do have the nice scoreboard behind one of the end zones lot of seating behind that end zone wow but there are just a few more renderings because they did break ground recently and they wanted to kind of show off the new stadium I hadn’t seen those but either way guys that is going to do it for this video make sure you follow me on X link to that’s always in the description

  1. I live in Jacksonville Florida. One thing I hate about going to jaguars games is the sun. A roof is definitely needed. I'm looking forward to jaguars new renovated stadium. It'll be nice for Jacksonville

  2. This place is going to be beautiful when it finally opens up as it's going to cover a lot of big events with roof over it. The best quality that it's going to have is that the interior will look the same as the EverBank Field right now unlike the other roof stadiums that have this cookie-cutter interior design. I wish the other teams would just throw the roof of their current stadiums like I think that's what the Bears need to just go on ahead and do in Chicago.

  3. Owner is with north of 10 billion. When are cities going to say enough. City will now say they can’t afford school lunches for kids but can come up with 600 million for a wealthy owner.
