leader that the Bears have in their defensive linebacker entire locker room um and I I I think uh you know I think it’s fair to expect some level up here in year two with some more Talent around him yeah just based off the I mean there’s a reason why he wore that c for the captain last year just how he kind of presents himself not only what he can do on the field but how he just how he talks you could just you kind of just listen taine for for hours honestly and I I imagine that’s why he gravitates towards a lot of his teammates and they look at him as being that that leader in the locker room shout out to my guy Larry Strickland by the way in the chat earlier I was at the the Bulls draft party how do you how do you say the guy that the Bulls drafted what’s his name oh great montis buellis yeah yeah that’s great Superstar Larry Strickland was there he was he celebrated like no other I heard just like we celebrated when traine signed by the Bears was his it his birthday and he got a picture with Karm that’s what he was tweeting about it was a bigger day for me than it was for Larry always always good to be Larry or anybody for that matter who loves who was that supportive of us thank you Larry we appreciate it there’s a bunch of people had the Bulls no that it was a good turnout and was cool it was a great my guy Zach gy goes nine so congratulations bregs oh congratulations Zach no no I congratulations you I saw you getting to dunk on people on Twitter was was a great win for you yeah it was fun it was fun um but no it it in terms of Tain Edmonds like he came over from Buffalo is a c he was a captain for them at a young age and you’re talking about a team that you know was a has been a playoff Contender every year that he was there you know and to to be a captain with the bills at his age speaks volumes then you come over here you’re trying to lead this whole new nucleus this whole new era you know Matt evl is trying to put this foundation in and you know taine we talk about it a little bit in the interview but he’s a Brick by Brick guy but like each brick you know you keep stacking them before you know it you know it’s starting to really build up into a pretty solid wall here now they’ve got a few more pieces to go and it’s going to be interesting to see how it all comes together and if you know if Ryan PSE wants to add a couple more bricks to this wall here before the season I think he should but they have a pretty formidable defense and he’s defin right at the front of that well not surprisingly he’s he’s going to speak well of his fellow linebackers on the team so we’ll wait for that but there was a bunch of stuff in there uh as I was learning about traine in ways honestly I probably should have learned in before today but he uh and this is just an interesting cat when you think think about his whole history dad played in the league tight end two-time pro bowler uh you know with the dolphins and with Seattle the mom was an athlete and you know he’s his two brothers are in the NF were in the NFL now he’s got one brother in the NFL Trey the running back played 37 games retired but one of the things that I just which we didn’t get to talk about CU we all you we only had so much time with him MH they not only you know you’re talking about all three brothers making it to the NFL with two athletic parents but they also they took in foster kids in his house so it’s apparently around it was written around 22 children over 20 years so like that is just that’s commitment yeah that that’s well there’s just you know you kind of wonder how does a guy become that mature that much of a leader and I think it just you know when that is not a that is not a normal growing up experience so I think he just got to really appreciate a lot of things and next time we get to talk to him I I’ll I’ll try to dive into that with him but like there had to be sort of a FasTrack as far as maturing because of the way he was brought up it makes a lot of sense of how he um portrays himself every time he goes up in front of a Podium like very mature articulates his thoughts like that makes a lot of sense given what his background was growing up yeah I I I just found that to be super interesting um you guys are going to enjoy the interview here yeah we’ll get to it 100% so Gregory Mark do you think after talking to traine today and after sitting there in Bragg’s land and having all the fun that you have over there doing what you do every single day do you anticipate and I’ll ask you the same question Nick do you think that this Bears defense with traine leading it in his second year with Montes for a full season with the sand god perhaps you know maybe making his last foray to get paid here in a bare uniform or get paid elsewhere with a with a Kyler Gordon Spider-Man census with a jaquin brisker maybe healthier this year with Jaylen Johnson more comfortable settled in that he’s got paid he’s putting out videos of him doing work right now is this going to be a defense that’s similar to the last defense that the Bears were able to ride to at least getting to the Super Bowl I I still think they need more pass rush you know when you saw that last game of the season against the Packers you we’re just not getting to the quarterback yeah lost in trenches you know they’re montz Swit shows up halfway through the season and it’s wreaking havoc but this league is about adjustments you know punch counter punch league and they’re going to eventually figure out okay we’re going to stop montz sweat and make the rest of your line beat us and at to this point they’ve lost players on the D line no more Justin Jones you know you you may or may not not bring back Yan and G yes you’ve asked added Austin Booker but he’s a rookie and you have to temper expectations on what he’ll be capable of here in his rookie year I mean Javon Dexter was on with us last week talking about the adjustments and how much of a challenge that was as a rookie and how much more comfortable he looks now or even sounds now so you know I I I think they have enough to be very competitive every game’s going to be fun it’s going to be hard to blow the Bears out but you know we saw at the end of last year in the Browns game in the Packers game where you know they played dominant for three and a half quarters but there was that moment where The Floodgate started to open up the Lions game on the road where they had the Lions dead to rights so you know I think it’s a very very good defense but it’s not without holes yeah I think the defense in 2018 if we’re you know trying to make comparisons here like they got they ended with 50 sacks That season last year’s Bears had 30 which was 31st in the league like for this Bears defense to got to get get to that level they’re going to have to do it in a different way because they only have montz sweat as The Proven guy that can actually go after the quarterback so if is is this secondary maybe better than 2018 maybe you can make that argue are the linebackers at that level like this defense has guys in positions that are Elite but it’s the getting to to the quarterback thing that I think all of us here including people in the chat are wondering can can they get better in that era they can’t be 31st in the league anymore they didn’t you need it you need dvon Dexter to take another step you need Demarcus Walker to to take a step in this defense you probably need to add another guy so it’s it’s just different how these two defenses did it but you know turnovers is the common denominator Hendrick makes a good point in the chat though he says you know I mean he’s taking a shot at Kay or at Justin field so it’s I’m I’m not talking about the bum part you know if Hendrick wants to take his throw some more errors at Justin so be it but the point of the offense wasn’t good enough which didn’t help the defense is a fair one you know if time of possession ball control scoring more points that’s going to put your defense in more opportune situations to be more aggressive where you’re not holding on for deer life to try to stay in a game theoretically if the offense is better that will help the defense but again as I mentioned okay the the Packers game the offense didn’t show up so that didn’t help the defense who did everything they could to hold on in that to make that a game in the last week of the season but um you know they you know Jordan they couldn’t get to the quarterback was my point now but the Lions and Browns games they were winning the offense was putting up you know you know the in the Lions game the offense put up points the Browns game they’re winning at the end and the defense just at the end of the day couldn’t close the door you know and a lot of that is because they couldn’t get to Joe flacko you know couldn’t get to you know jar Jared G so you know they’ve got to be able to get to the quarterback and we don’t have any evidence other than M montz sweat that they’ll be able to do that consistently so until they add another piece until we see this on the field you know we can all be optimistic which I am but we can also you know to your question you know that I’m not without concern for the year so let me pivot here one guy who has gotten to the quarterback 26 and a half sack in his career five and a half last year got paid by the Titans big money uh his name which I even hesitate to say because he’s under my skin right now but good old Jeffrey Simmons defensive tackle of the Tennessee Titans out there getting all excited for week one we’re going to talk with shaine about this but I want us to kick get around for a second here uh he’s talking about Caleb and he’s quoted as saying painted nails I can’t wait to say that to him this is from a tweet from Pro Football Focus on Twitter or whatever you want to call it nowadays I think that’s what they call it yeah yep yep that’s what it is yeah uh should we send him your shirt Mark Jeffrey Simmons oh yeah tough nail got the toughest Nails shirt on I do have the toughest we should send Jeffrey Simmons this shirt you know Simmons really does have to learn like painted nails I can’t wait to say that to him ooh burn wow you got me man wow is that all you’re going to say just painted nails like that’s going to be kind of confusing yeah like wait painted nails you paint your nails I’m Jeffrey Simmons who for the record as I was you know just he’s a good player oh yeah no good player good player checkered background pretty checkered background mhm got accused of spitting on Marshall Yanda Accused by what did I say you said accused y Marshall y this Marshall’s quote was I don’t want to say another thing number 98 for the Titans I had that guy spit in my face today I just want to put him on notice in the media I’ve never done this in my career but I just want to let you know that there’s a right way and a wrong way to play football that guy did not do it the right way today and then they asked him about it and he didn’t deny it and he just said I know what I did and I know what I didn’t do and then did did you I know what I didn’t I know what I didn’t do and then there’s other things that are not serious there’s other more serious accusations so uh you know here we got a guy talking and coming at Caleb whose mom you know own a nail salon and I’d say it’s respecting his mom respecting being unique what’s going on see skers uh freaking comment who gave who a h well that girl did say that in Nashville so maybe this is this must be a Tennessee thing hot yeah everybody needs to lay off the trick quick trying to find out I understand the people have figured it out lay off the hak Tua she is allowed to do what she does with herself in her in she’s a she is a grown enough woman two fact that we got that everyone’s got Obsession about h Tua is needs people need to chill it’s all over social media literally everywhere you go man when when I had to explain to Jenny what this was about not the process of a hawk Tua just why it is so popular like this saying is going around I I just along those that’s entirely possible all right so let me can we just wrap up the Jeffrey Simmons thing do you you know do do we think that the Bears are ready for the quote unquote Target that is going to be on the Caleb back and it’s you know people I people are going to want to come after the number one overall driver people are going to you know defenses are going to want to come after a quarterback period Caleb is going to as evidenced by Jeffrey Simmons comments he’s going to give a drop of extra motivation whether that matters or not I probably doesn’t but there’s going to be something a little bit extra that people are going to be trying to you know come in here and and and prove a point that you can’t play and you’re not all that you think the Bears are ready for it I I I think it comes down to Caleb so you you know when when we talk to taine and talk to Geron and talk to they’re talking about his competitiveness so as long as he shows that competitiveness in the games the players are going to Rally around him with that and they rallied around Justin Fields they had his back now if his demeanor is different and they’re losing games and you know you start to see that that crack you know that it’s that it’s breaking them up a little bit when things don’t go as planned you know that might change you know the mentality you know so that’s why Caleb you know we all hope is a strong leader and you know um a big- Time competitor you know and a fighter and and th those are the kind of attributes that make players want to Rally around you so I think they’re ready as long is Caleb’s ready you know I’ll say this real quick mark like I think just as a competitor don’t you want to have the spotlight on you at at some point like the Bears haven’t had that because of what their record was that season they just haven’t been in the Limelight as much Caleb brings that uh Hard Knock is here they’re going to London they have international games so as a competitor like you want to be in these situations and the quarterback’s going to be the guy that’s going to set the set the foundation of what this team’s going to be about so if he can handle it like how do you think Caleb Williams is handling the Jeffrey Simmons comments he’s probably laughing or making you know laughing it off a little bit not taking it directly to hard because he knows people are going to come after him so I just think that if you’re a professional athlete and you have all this extra attention there’s a reason why right so I think this is something that the Bears have been needing and now they finally have it so I think they have to be ready to to answer your question well and our guy herb Howard again with a I thought it was an interesting comment like he’s going to get the Caitlyn Clark treatment he’ll be fine well Caitlyn Clark and Caleb are that’s it’s a little bit interesting Caitlyn’s not as say flamboyant as Caleb is but you are talking about someone who’s gotten a ton of attention for being really good at their sport I I would say that you know Caitlyn’s level of success on the college level is greater than Caleb’s the fact that she made it the championship game all that type of stuff well it’s also about the marketability he’s going to be in commercials cuz like when we had Henry Melton in last week his they played Andrew Luck in his first ever game at Soldier Field they beat him 41 to 21 melting had two sacks I bring that up to him like Hey that was Andrew Luck’s first game where you guys like geared up to kind of show the rookie what’s up he was like I didn’t know that was his first game everybody’s going to know it’s Caleb Williams’s first game you know he’s not as you know as quiet as you know an Andrew Luck you know well and it will be interesting to see how quickly his NFL swag if you will develops right cuz it’s is he a [ __ ] talker cuz he he talks a lot of [ __ ] on Twitter so you know he’s he he talks [ __ ] on the field at USC he he painted his nails like fuut you know so that that’s who he is which will be easy he was chanting not chanting Green Bay sucks but he Wasing on the you know he’s not backing he’s not ducking the smoke but if if you’re coming out and you’re scuffling out there and the Bears aren’t winning games you can’t be putting that on your you can’t be doing something like that the equivalent for Green Bay and going up there now if he’s having a ton of success and he starts bringing that element of the Caleb to the table that’ll be highly entertaining oh no doubt yeah I mean I think that’s only going to motivate his own teammates even more like Hey we’re we’re doing this we’re winning games I’m passing and you know like that’s only extra motivation I think well I don’t think anybody in sports Minds somebody that talks [ __ ] it’s the ones that can’t back it up right so like when you look at angel Reese you know you talk about Kaylin cark you talk look at angel ree you know they play a night here at six o’clock here at you know the wi trust Arena Angel’s talking [ __ ] at times but she’s backing it up you know they just won a big one there on Sunday and so the city is embracing her you know she’s got like a double double in like 15 straight games right the city’s already she’s been here a month and she’s flashy right she’s got a big star appeal she’s got every celebrity oh star linebacker what’s wrong nothing you like pointed at me like something was about to happen no no no working with Chunky Soup our guy traine Edmond and it is our sincere pleasure to have the star linebacker of your Chicago Bears brought to you today by the delicious the tasty Chunky Soup taine Edmonds well welcome to chgo Bears good to have you uh as we start out here I’m just thinking about your first year in Chicago like looking back on it what did you like about it your your own performance obviously you guys would have loved to won more games and what are you looking back at like hey I’d like to sort of level it up going into year two in Chicago yeah I think looking back on it man you can’t help but to think about just the team goals um you know obviously you know I was brought here to win um not just myself but a different guy you know the different acusations that you make in free agency everything is geared towards one goal and that’s to you know obviously win games make the playoffs and give yourself a chance to play for the big game which is the Super Bowl uh so I think just number one man I think that’s just when I look back on the season um obviously it was a couple games that we let get away from us um so I think it’s really learning how to win those big games um you know obviously I can speak all about individual statistics and you know what I want to do individually but at the end of the day man I think it’s just winning those close games because at the end of the day you know those going to be the games those are the those are the experiences that you take with you into the playoffs you know based off my experience those experience that you have in the regular season winning those tight games when it comes down to the fourth quarter you know four minutes left two minutes left those are the games that get you set up to play Big Time football kind of playoffs and um you know as I look back on it man it’s just really learning from those times and how we couldn’t get it done and just getting it done this year Germaine you’re saying like now you’re better equipped do you think well do you think you’re better equipped now to finish those games given what the additions were on offense where you feel like the continuity may be on defense do you feel like in year two with the Bears you’re better equipped to finish off those games that you couldn’t last season no I think the biggest thing is because I don’t want to call it you know mistakes but great decision making come within having making mistakes before so mistakes may have been you know maybe we didn’t execute this play right maybe you know maybe I didn’t call this play right or whatever it may be um everything comes down to the experiences and the lessons that you take off that loss and if we look at it that way and if we take those lessons and turn them into you know ways to get better and you know talk about it as a team and really be you know not confrontational but you know being transparent with one another and um you know just letting each other know how to get better I think at the end of the day you’ll find yourself not really doing too much because at the end of the day it doesn’t take much of a fix you know what I mean like usually it’s always coming down to this guys being able to talk to each other as men and let’s get the problem corrected and um learn as a group and move forward that’s usually what it comes down to so I think if we just take the lessons that we learn and um you know be honest with ourselves you know we’ll be sitting where we want to sit at are you the big dog in that defensive room as far as the the biggest voice is that you I would like to say so well I mean you were a cap you were a captain at a pretty young age in Buffalo so I imagine like trying to become the leader of this team last year and transitioning over to Chicago you know I like what was that like for you and do you feel more of a leader now this offseason than you did coming into a new team last year let me say this man I feel right at home man I I I I consider myself a natural born leader man so uh nothing is ever too much I take on that responsibility man I take on that role uh it’s been like that since since I started playing football when I was you know a young boy back back in my Virginia days but uh you know I take on that responsibility man and you know I put all the weight on my shoulders you know what I mean and I don’t it’s not just me out there I I’m not saying that to say it’s just me out there you know making all the calls doing this and doing that because we have a great group of guys I have great guys that I could depend on TJ is one of the guys obviously we play beside one another um you know obviously TZ with his leadership uh Jaylen Johnson you know bris I can I can go on and you know so it’s not just the train show you know we have different guys out there that their role is a little bit different than my role obviously I’m the Mike linebacker I’m getting everybody in line getting you know making the calls in that nature but we have guys that also have big voices in their room as well so you know I’m not putting all the pressure on me because it’s not just my you know what I mean but you know we have great group of guys that you know we all work towards one goal and know it’s a Brick by Brick thing right chermaine I know you’re big on that we’re we’re big on that saying here I did throw you the Brick by Brick shirt at Camp last year so I appreciate we’re all about that motto here uh you know I was a former brick layer for 20 years so you know you’re just one brick in the wall but you put you know enough bricks in the wall you build a house now you picking up what I’m putting down yes sir go jine you brought up TJ Edwards I want to know there are a lot of good linebacker Duos in in this league you have the guys in Baltimore guys in San Francisco do you think that you and TJ bring in Jack sanor as well do you think that Trio of linebackers is as good as it gets in the NFL you know I think so man um you know first let me say I’ve had the pleasure of playing with another great linebacker you know with you know obviously Matt Milano and and buffalo and I think M and TJ experience is kind of reminded me of that you know what I mean obviously I played with Matt for five years and this is going on second year with TJ but just his work ethic the way that he approached the game his mindset um I mean it aligns with everything that I’m about you know what I mean like we’re wired the same way like just talking about some of the things like immediately when we know something is wrong we look at one another like all right now come on we got to get that right or if it’s at practice and we need a little pickme up you know everybody needs pick me up man obviously we’re professionals but let’s be honest man sometimes you got to look at your brother and be like all right now let’s go I’m battling with you you know what I mean I’m fighting with you and um you know we we’re wir the same way um you know at the end of the day man when I feet hit that Turf hit that grass it’s go time and it’s no looking back and you know I wouldn’t want to play with nobody else man I’m excited for what’s to come and like I said Man true warrior and TJ and and Sam I can’t leave my man Sam man out because everybody in that in that in that linebacker room is wired the same way man and Sam man makes a ton of plays as y’all can see um even his mindset you know what I mean and you know how smart he is and you know all of us just rely on one another and uh that’s when you have a great thing cooking you know what I mean it’s not just one guy it’s everybody speaking the same language everybody’s about ball and everybody want to accomplish the same thing and um that’s what I feel that’s what I see that’s what I you know what I mean when we out there practicing it’s pushing one another man and you know a dog want to play with a dog at the end of the day well our guy Mark over here he calls Sanborn sand god that was that was before you got here taine I dubbed into the sand god but if I gotta go down to Sandman I mean that’s you know maybe that’s a little more accurate man I’m telling you man my you can call them whatever you want you know what I mean whatever feels good to you but because that’s my guy s he got plenty of nicknames but you know s man is the first thing that came to mind c c can we go just back in time for those who don’t know I mean your family history is insane your your your dad Pro bow with the dolphins seven years in the NFL your mom athlete herself hurdler Southern Illinois go Salukis you and your two brothers all playing in the NFL what I had a quote here that I found at four years old is this true you you told I believe your mother quote I can’t wait to play football so I can knock somebody’s head off at 4 that sound accurate man hold on I think you must have had a side conversation with my mom and I gotta see what’s going on but I’m telling you man cause see I obviously I’m the younger I’m the youngest brother and um you know just looking back on those times you know obviously I’m I’m assuming is around four whatever it is but I do remember man I used to always go to my oldest brother’s practice my oldest brother’s about four years older than me and um you know obviously I was a little young at the time and I really couldn’t get out there and move around with the guys so um you know I would volunteer myself every day like no I’m GNA go with my brother to practice and I’m just gonna sit on the side and uh I promise you man I would just sit over there like I said it may have been a little bit older than four because I do remember this you know obviously four is a little bit early to remember a couple things but uh I was definitely Young at the age where I could remember it and I was just tell my mom every day like you know when my chance get here you know this is what I’mma do and I would just sit out there all day man you could ask people that you could ask people that was on the team or the coaches anybody and I would just sit out there every day and just you know wait for my opportunity and uh just taking all the game that I could take in you know learning from what my brother did you know whatever station whatever position he was at I was over there watching uh we would leave practice I would ask some questions uh so I kind of got the you know the answers to the test a little bit at early stage and uh you know I ever grateful for that your mom cookie did tell me that you’re a mommy pleaser that’s the word she used mommy pleaser now I might have read that but I feel like she told it straight to me would you is that accurate you’re a mommy pleaser now tell me what’s your definition of a mommy pleaser because yours might be different than mine my my definition is whatever your mom says you do and there are no complaints and I’m gonna be I am I’m gonna be in line and my mom is never going to be mad at me you know what if you make me sound that good let’s go with it oh yeah uh yeah I’m a mama’s boy as well so I get it um you know I’m sure you’re not trying to count down the days of Camp I’m sure you want to enjoy what few days off you do get in the off season but we are 23 days away from training camp uh you know Hall of Fame games coming right around the corner the regular seasons right here so uh Jeffrey Simmons for the Titans your week one opponent’s already putting out bulletin board material saying he can’t wait to cross p with Caleb Williams talk a little smack about his painted fingernails so we’ve already got a little trash talking going on with your week one opponent are you guys ready to you know have the Target on your back with a guy like Caleb coming in and all this pedigree being that number one pick and everything that comes with him you know uh I think it’s a unique situation for everyone um you know obviously the guys has been on the team longer than me um that probably didn’t see the success they wanted to see coming into the league um it’s a different experience and just being around that buzz you know it’s something that guys’s probably gonna have to get used to I’m just gonna call it how it is uh because it’s different you know I I’ve been a part of it I’ve been a part of going into a year when expectations are High um you know but some guys they don’t know what that feels like but you know I think my little bit of advice would just be you got to be where your feet are you know what I mean you can’t worry about external things because that’s not going to add value to our football team you know you know what I mean like worrying about what somebody’s typing about you worrying about what this person is saying worry about what that person is saying it’s not adding value to our football team what’s adding value is the work that you putting in you know what I mean each and every day you getting up in all season you you you punching in that clock and not just punching in the clock to say I worked out but really getting something out of it and um you know what I mean I think that’s what it comes down to is really just blocking out all that noise and uh just doing your part because that’s what it comes down you got to it’s football is unique man it’s it’s all 11 guys working working together to complete one Mission and when you thinking that way and not thinking that you’re the only gu there on the field um to be honest it make your job a lot easier so you know it’s just about just just focusing on yourself and and pouring into your cup because at the end of the day we came pour to nobody else coming until we pour in si yeah you focus where your feet are I’ll tweet at Jeffrey Simmons all right what’s impressed you taine about Caleb so far and and second part of that were you guys trying to make it as hard on him as possible at OTAs to maybe get him up to speed as quick as possible yeah well I answer the first question first I think what’s impressed me um is really just his competitive nature man because I think it it’s it’s something very lightly said but at the end of the day when you get out there on the field with somebody that you know loves to compete the same way that you want to compete um really man it brings joy to you because man we play a hard sport you know we play a contact sport and if it’s not in you it’s it’s going to be hard for somebody to pull it out of you and just to see like the confidence that he had from day one um I guess that goes into competitive nature just his confidence um that that really impressed me because you know as a rookie sometimes you try to feel your way through that you know what I mean particularly a quarterback you don’t know what to expect like you said we have all these expectations or you have all the expectations as a player and um it’s kind of easy to like walk into it but you know just seeing his confidence and seeing way to go about his business that really impressed me um you know so second second question um you know I think just as a defense man we just focusing on taking that next step and if that means you know making it hard for him to prepare him who who knows or so be it but I think our main focus was more so let’s go out there and be the best that we could be like we understand who we are as a unit we understand the players that we have and how good we can be and I think that was our main focus more than you know let’s make it hard on him our main focus was now we gonna go out there and prove it to ourselves because we know how good we can be we know because we proved it you know what I mean we’ve shown it um but it’s really about just being consistent it’s really about showing it day in and day out and um you’ll be sitting where you want to be sitting at for sure Jermaine I think it was TJ who said that Caleb was moving you guys with his with his eyes and I know there was one practice where he got him over the middle of the field and got an interception but how has Caleb challenged you to become an even better middle linebacker just with what he’s been doing in some of these practices yeah I think it’s you know just as far as like staying honest you know I think sometimes as Defenders we get a little a little bit greedy um you know we try to like I I don’t want to say not trust your eyes but you know sometimes you got to you know play a little bit slower you know play a little bit more honest and um you know really go through your fundamentals really go to through like exactly what the defense is asking you to do and um you know I think he done a good job like I said in particular as a rookie coming in and you know showing some of those things early and um you know I’m really excited to see how how he progress along the way J I know you got to get out of here but we’re going to take a little sip of this chunky soup why’ you want to party with chunky today I know that I’ve already tasted the Nashville style hot chicken soup here Karm we deserves better but we knew the socks were going to suck but you know it’s interesting it’s it’s a good thing for socks fans that the Cubs are also not doing great cuz no one’s talking about jering this they the socks are currently on Pace to have the worst record in major league history Jerry’s like McDonald’s right now loving it no it’s [ __ ] Jerry should be getting all the smoke right now following me Nick I know you’re with me and by the way I mean he’s a champion nobody remembers him being on the championship team uh as as far as his hoop talents are go but he but he was there and Keith by the way Keith’s a leader and Keith is our first Die Hard of the day now does he have all his teeth he does not okay well actually I don’t know let’s just leave it like that I I I feel like feel like Keith is missing at least one this Keith those front teeth but not taking a hockey puck the dunking Keith and he’s got no teeth um what about Chris H Chris sucks well Chris is the man Chris you’re Chris you’re an amazing Die Hard Chris is a guy did did he call a timeout when they didn’t have one he did not you want to throw any more out there go ahead keep coming out that Chris new Chris this Chris knows how many timeouts there are okay this Chris he goes about his business the right way cut his jerseys up in a temper tantrum rage no you know Chris does have a rage but he uses the rage in a good way he he’s not Destructor Chris is a bringer together that’s why he wanted to be a member of the Die Hard a guardian of the galaxy he doesn’t get that reference no not at all couldn’t get that less uh and whatever that is um this is I’m confused now by herb Howard I had Keith Ban’s herb and I didn’t have Keith Duncan or Duncan Keith but I where I was going was my guy Keith Booth who was one of a Jerry cr’s pathetic draft picks but yet was a champion I went all the way back to the Jordan era damn it that’s where I go thank you for the records Herb’s too young for Keith boo but Chris Chris Chris does things the right way he does the right things the right way every day and he does it for a long time and that just propelled him to be the loved Chris that he is he can switch teams and still be beloved somehow in the city that he was born in that’s my guy Chris Die Hard and then what about John what about John yeah what yeah tell us John JN is a guy that is going to get the job done no matter what John is not afraid to be unpopular if being unpopular means that his team is winning JN knows how to uplift himself and the people around him to levels that they didn’t think they could get to John name Jacob he can get a little bit shortsighted when it comes to winning but that’s okay because at the end of the day John’s heart is in the right place and John’s my guy back with it because I I want to control it if I try to swing too hard then I then I you know then I just lose it like it I can’t the only way I can hit it straight is if I slow it down a little bit but I have been working on that to get more distance on my drive so like it’s a I’m in a I’m going to work in progress right now but that was a tough course thank you very much and I shot a 96 Stephen was helping me out a lot with my putting how many tolls did you putt out on your 96 ask him he did it legit everything was legit I was there I was there Mark is not shot one do in the sleep why you got to do that well I’m sorry just just so people understand it was a tough course there you go I want this on the if if we’re if we’re going to if we’re going to throw this if we’re going to throw
