  1. Two innings of clutch hitting was all we needed. Good work to Shota and the BP today. Those 3 runs were BS

  2. Honestly, it feels like we should give Hodge, an exciting rookie reliever with 30-grade present command, the closer role. I’ll take the 50/50 shot he has it on a given night over everybody else.

(I know that’s a terrible idea from a development standpoint.)

  3. Only saw the final out on MLB Network, but that catch shouldn’t have gotten as close to embarrassing as it did there.

  4. Phew. Glad we got out of SF without getting swept, but holy shit this team needs to string some wins together and fast. Hopefully today is the start of that for us.

  5. That would have been classic Cubs to drop the last out and then give up 3 runs in the 10th

  6. Pardon my language,

But FUCKING FINALLY WE DIDN’T FUCK UP AND LOSE BECAUSE OF THE BULLPEN

  7. When they hit that homer in the top of the 10th, I thought the cubs were going to win… by one run after the Giants scored the Manfred runner. What a pleasant surprise by the bullpen!
