Jesus yeah we need more old guys that are barely passable defensively don’t skate well and are streaky as hell. This isn’t 10 years ago.
I hope we add more physicality this offseason. This team needs a little more grit
It be cool to have Top Titty back, but is it what we need.
The one glaring hole in the lineup right now is a RH top 6 winger. Toffoli would be able to sign a team friendly contract at about $4.5 mil for 2-3 years, and he’s by far the best option available to fill that role. Anyone else is going to cost far more and want more term.
This guy scored 33 goals last season, and he’s a better replacement for Ardvisson in every single way. Add to that, he owns a house in LA, he’s already familiar with the team and many of the players, and he has the experience of winning a cup in Los Angeles.
There are no good reasons not to make this signing happen.
If we pick up Toffoli and get some production out of Turcotte, Fagemo, Thomas I think we can have a pretty solid forward situation.
