Purely ridiculous but if we were to trade Paul skenes right now, what would we get in return? I’d say anyone in the league not named ohtani. Thoughts? Could we empty an entire farm system from another team for him and Jones?
Let’s get Bleday. I’m out on Robert (always hurt), out on Jazz (headcase), out on Josh Bell (only slightly less streaky than Rowdy). I’d be ok with Ward from the Angels. I’d be ok with bringing back Elias Diaz from the Rockies.
But the A’s love to get fleeced (see Matt Olson) and can assuredly swing this deal.
Please don’t trade Bubba Chandler. We need to have him as a backup for when we have to make our decision between Paul Skenes and Jared Jones
We should be telling them that. We should NOT be telling them that the prospects will come cheaply.
That said, this reporter is an idiot. He has a high profile and a low hit rate.
