THE CANUCKS JUST GOT THE BEST GOALSCORER IN THE OHL: ANTHONY ROMANI TO VANCOUVER

THE CANUCKS JUST GOT THE BEST GOALSCORER IN THE OHL: ANTHONY ROMANI TO VANCOUVER

now you may be wondering okay what the hell did the Vancouver Canucks do to get the 162nd overall pick well we’ll answer that question it initially belonged to San Jose the Vancouver Canucks received this pick in the Jack stood NAA trade all those months ago yeah remember Jack stanika former Vancouver kanok well he got sent over to San Jose and the koks got this pick in exchange and they used it to select out of the North Bay Battalion and Anthony Romani now you can hear the planes outside I’m sorry I live near YVR so you can hear that pretty loudly but Anthony Romani is a Pickering Ontario Canada native 6 Fe 179 center right winger who is a right-handed guy this was a pretty interesting pickup for Vancouver because this player scored 111 points in 68 games played this most recent season and 58 gosh darn goals he was a monster in the OHL this year although he was an overaged on July 12th 2005 this is a player who was eligible for last year’s draft but he got passed over he only had 43 points in 66 games played that season he doubled his production though actually near tripled it in fact he was so good this recent season with North Bay and he really polished up his goal scoring ability and his playmaking he is listed here as a heavy shooter playmaker and two-way forward who is ranked to go 97th overall by Elite prospects 90th by TSN and Bob Mackenzie 81st by mckin so the fact that he slipped all the way to the 10062 spot for Vancouver to snag him up I think is a pretty big deal Anthony Rani the scotting report here says that most of his offense comes off the rush he’s an ice stretching playmaker hitting teammates with long bomb cross ice passes this season he carried the puck more creating offense with his weaving rushes and given goes either way he’s constantly shifting the defense around his East movement creating space for him or his linemates to slip away from Defenders not to mention the fact that his goal scoring his shooting was really pushed forward this season as well I mean he surpassed every expectation that you could have he can score on the rush he can score in tight 58 goals is no joke if you go over to the OHL and check out the overall production record I mean Anthony rman was the second overall point producer in the entire OHL and for goals he was number one this was the best goal scorer in the oh period and the Vancouver Canuck snagged him up at the ripe old age of 18 turning 19 so let me know your thoughts in the comment section below about Anthony Romani being the Vancouver Canuck’s most latest Prospect we got to make some more videos because the Canadians are picking and there was a huge trade Alex Holtz was sent over to Vegas we got to talk about that soon let me know your thoughts in the comment section though about this draft pick right here I hope you enjoyed this vsh 99 and bye
