🚨 YOUR HOUSTON ASTROS ARE ONCE AGAIN BACK AT .500!! 🚨
Tomorrow’s question: Can they get above .500??
Also we’re playing 1.000 baseball in the second half so if they keep this pace up we finish the season 121-41

This team still has the stones. Overcoming a hot team down 5 is no joke.
Imagine thinking the Astros would lose this game LOL (I did in the 2nd inning)
.500 upvote party part 2!
(Dear god please be the last)
[posting a pic of Nori for every win (41)](https://x.com/norithecat17/status/1807196834386891255?s=46)
Good to see the team not give up down big
This is a good, honest .500 baseball team. We play .500 ball goddammit. Salt of the earth, punch the clock, even win/loss ratio baseball. We lose a couple, guess what? We’ll win a couple, too. But don’t get too excited or let it go to your head. No long winning streaks here, no sir. That’s hubris, which this blue collar, hard working everyman team doesn’t have. A few wins in a row, these guys, true to form, will balance it out with a couple a losses. Yes sir, that’s my 2024 Astros. A good, honest .500 baseball team.
No singing today Mets!
okay lets see if i can get my heart rate to get back down below 100 now
That last strike call was so fitting, especially with Alvarez up there haha

Great fucking win
I’m a dumb stupid doomer. Thank you Astros for proving me wrong
Ya.. we back.
What a game. That was intense.
They turned it around, thank fuck. ngl I am worried about tomorrow since it’ll seemingly be a bullpen game but I have faith
offense fights back from a sizeable deficit and hader having a stress free save in the same game 🥺
Yeeuhhhhhh
Pussies. Celebrating last night like they won the NLCS. Should be forced to perform that song every night until they win another game. Ironic that Iglesias had a great game in a LOSS.
.500 BABY! Again…
This was a team victory. Everybody came to play and didn’t get discouraged at a deficit. From 6-1 to 9-6 this team didn’t give up. I’m proud of the Astros today. Great game
The monster closer combo might actually be a thing.
Cat plz.
Espada single handily won us that game with his ability to see the future LETS GOOOO
Forgot what it’s like to have a comeback game. Genuinely thought this game was lost after the 2nd.
I knew their bullpen was going to break, my only question was when. Consider that question answered.
We were five down at one point. That’s gotta be the biggest comeback win all season for us.
This was going to be a back and forth series, two hottest teams in baseball running into each other. Let’s go surprise Sevy and the Mets and win the series tomorrow!
Great game. Looking forward to playing them in October.
Bailed out framber. As soon as he started getting flustered you knew it was trouble
Way to battle back! SHOOT IT!
fuck you grimace
Mets ended our win streak. It was only fair that we returned the favor and ended theirs.
This game did not look like it was going to go our way, but the fight this team has can’t be ignored. We’re back to .500 and can end June with a winning record tomorrow. Biggest comeback of the season. Bad defense? Framber framboozling his own team? Ump’s questionable zone decisions? Astros overcame them all today and it was glorious.
Tomorrow’s going to be an interesting one, but today? Let’s fucking go.
LFG!! Fuck the Grimace

Just saying… without an umpire fucking up Meyers’ zone… he does pretty well.
O.M.G….. this was the game the Mets deserved after that showboating.
These come back wins are my favorite. They have me at both ends of the emotional spectrum. Rage sadness/joy elation. Let’s just win tomorrow, Astros! LFG!!!
I’m traveling today, so I couldn’t watch the game. Saw Framber had a rough 2nd inning and the Astros were down 4-6 earlier. Very pleased to see we came back and won this one!
The Mets’ broadcast team on SiriusXM referenced Framber’s giving up 6 runs on 10 hits to then be replaced by “the adult in the room” (Taylor Scott). It’s kinda embarrassing that Framber’s emotionality is such a factor in games that it’s mocked like this.
