  1. I still don’t understand AJ lineup’s. Perez vs LHP has been better than vs RHP so why bat him 6th. Just keep him in the 2 slot.

  2. And I stand here, phone in hand, 20 miles away from the ballpark, refusing to go to the game, and asking the same! Against the Angels though… in Anaheim… fat chance to say the least. I called this out a week and a half ago, well before it happened.

I’ve watched the Tigers get absolutely demolished at Angel Stadium for the better part of 14 years. Doesn’t matter the lineup, squad, or year. 14-33 against the Angels at Angel Stadium since 2010, and I guarantee I’ve watched 85% of those games live. Keep in mind, quite a few of those wins and losses were when we had names like Upton, Cabrera, Fielder, Verlander, Martinez, and Martinez wearing the olde English D.

This is the FIRST series since I moved out west that I’m not going to. I may travel with the team for the SD, and OAK series late in the year, but that’s gonna depend on how the next month shakes out.

I bet they’ll score a ton of runs today. Sunday is usually the day they get all the scoring for the week out of the way. Anyone else waiting for Toledo call ups or for the offseason to start? I’m about there.

  3. These lineups are so depressing. I don’t need us handing out $200m contracts c but can we at least get a couple guys on this team that aren’t painful to watch?

  4. I swear to christ – can we just have two consistent lineups day-over-day. AJ’s tinkering is killing me.

  5. Saw the debacle that was last night live. That lineup just about gives me the same feeling when I heard Pillar smack the ball down the LF line
