LEAFS MAKE A FANTASTIC MOVE: HUGE MAX DOMI SIGNING FOR 4 YEARS (Toronto Maple Leafs News)

[Applause] oh baby if Mitch Marner ends up leaving which let’s say he probably will this is the guy man is this the next Austin Matthews prosperous linemate he’s got four years to prove that that is the case as Max doy is signing a 4-year extension with the Toronto Maple Leafs carrying a $33.75 million aav this long negotiation winds up with a great deal for both sides this is a fantastic move mostly because when it comes to Max doy and the value that he brings to the Toronto map beliefs it’s a lot more than just the point production would indicate this is a gamer this is a guy that’s not afraid to get under his opponent’s skin sure the points are nice but Max DOI brings an agitative quality to the top six of the Toronto Maple leag alongside of that Elite playmaking 47 points 80 games played this season 38 assists it’s a little bit off of his career high of 72 points in 82 games with the Montreal Canadians back in 201819 I’m not too sure if he’s ever going to replicate that ever again but maybe playing alongside of Austin Matthews for the long term he has a chance to do so who really knows DOI has been so important on and off the ice he seems like a great leader he seems like a fan and favorite 2 that honestly this contract 3.75 million I feel like it’s a little bit of a steal like I get it you know it’s good for DOI that he’s getting the four years he wants that security he wants that longer term dollar amount but for the Maple Leafs yearby year I think this is actually a really solid deal and heading into the next few days here we’ll take a look as to what the Leafs are able to do with some of the other guys Tyler berzi Chris tanv there are rumors about Nikita zadorov and Oliver emman Larson we’re going to talk about that more as the day goes on but for right now this is a big signing this is a big win-win I guess for Max doy if he wants to make a little bit more dough he could always get some sponsors because you know Toronto is Toronto having DOI and berzi playing under a Craig baru system seems like a really good match and if DOI is able to consistently find that playmaking edge alongside of matthews’s goal scoring ability I’m not saying this 72 Point season is attainable once more but maybe he’s got a 49 point in 60 Game season in him once again if you do the math on that 49 divy 60 time 82 that was a 67o pace with the Chicago Blackhawks last year of course though he was on Chicago so things are a lot different with that Squad so let me know your thoughts in the comment section below about Max doy signing a 4-year extension with the Toronto map Leafs worth $3.75 million a year I hope you enjoy this vsh r99 and bye

  1. This deal isn't so hot! Sit back and let it sink in. Big deal, Domi for 4 more losing years. His career high was with the Habs! He'll never get close to it again.
