  2. Paxton is what he is. 1/3 of his starts are awful and today was that day. Unsustainable strand rate boosts his numbers. Really shouldn’t be on the team after the trade deadline

  3. And that wraps up a pretty underwhelming month. 5 games over .500 in June but only 6 games were against good teams (KC, NY). Should’ve been able to stockpile more wins but the offense keeps being inconsistent and we’re getting more shitty starts like the ones from Glasnow and Paxton this weekend.

  4. Thought the game was later today. Just turned it on to see giants celebrating. Yuck

  5. So you won the game giants, but can you really call it a win when Chris Taylor styles on you and uses you as a springboard for his MVP campaign? I don’t know…

  6. Everyone but Kiké, Austin Barnes, and Chris Taylor should be ashamed of themselves. It’s not actually true I just wanted to say that sentence because it’s hilarious.

  7. That sucked today. Got a tough stretch of games coming up with Brewers and Phillies after the D-backs. But we got this.

  8. That’s okay, it’s only April… oh wait, it’s June. The way you guys made it sound, I thought April lasted forever

  9. It’s baseball. Every team is gonna lose lots of games. Every team is gonna have absolute stinkers.

But did it have to be to the fucking giants? They had more doubles than the Dodgers had hits. I fucking hate losing to this team.

On one hand, it’s a tough spot to have to ask the guy that’s basically a placeholder at the back-end of the rotation to go out and give you 6-7 innings because your ace got blown the fuck up the night before an made you use your whole pen. And Paxton has delivered more this season than the Dodgers probably realistically could have asked for. But man, Paxton has to give a better effort than that. I could have lived with like 6 runs over 6 innings if it had to be a bad performance. But watching him throw meatball after meatball was fucking brutal.

Whatever. Take the day off tomorrow, get rested up and forget this shit ever happened

  10. We may have lost this game, but I will never forget that we decimated the Giants on their *Beat LA* shirt day, and that brings a smile to my face.

  11. One of those games. We still got a great record and I’m more than fine at the seed we’re at now

  12. I’ll only remember this game as another step on Chris Taylor’s redemption arc.

  13. I didnt watch this game but Paxton either gives you a gem or a wet fart. It wont matter because in the postseason, rotation gets shortened to 3 maybe 4 starters and so far it looks like Glasnow, Stone, Yamamoto, and whoever the Dodgers trade for or whoever can step up when the regular season is over.

No lead lost in the division, but MIL keeps winning which isnt good for the wild card bye. A bad game but in the end its 1 loss and the team moves on until Mookie and Muncy are back. Is it just me or are the Dodgers really bad in bullpen games?

  14. Guy in yesterday’s post game thread: these last two were stressful, I hope tomorrow is a blowout
