BREAKING: Antonio Cromartie JOINING NY Jets Coaching Staff For Fall Camp | Bill Walsh Internship

[Music] all right guys what’s going on welcome in so we got some breaking Jets news right just came out from Antonio Kari himself uh according to him he’s going to be joining the New York Jets coaching staff uh through the Bill Walsh uh internship this off season which is basically a program that the NFL implemented where former players can uh go and help participate and observe ba basically it’s a it’s a pathway for former players to get their foot in the door with NFL coaching right now kardi has has already done a fair share of coaching before uh he was actually part of the Texas A&M uh Agy football program I know he was also working with an HBCU I believe it was St Augustine if my memory serves me uh correctly here but in any case kardi man one of my favorite players one of my favorite favorite Jets players of all time you know I think back to all those great defensive performances led by Rex Ryan of course you know those uh early Mike petton days I mean you can just go down the list of how many good football players the Jets had on the defensive side of the football right David Harris uh Chris Jenkins D Rivas I mean we had some really good safety play as well with Eric Smith Jim Leonard um we we had one good season with Brodney pool I I can literally sit here for 20 minutes talking about just that just those Rex Ryan defenses um and you know ultimately Kari finds his way back to the New York Jets to finish out his career which I felt like you know thanks to Mike mccum he brings him back and along with Doral Rivas that was just awesome right of of course it was you know so late in Kari and ras’ career to where it wasn’t like we you know we got him back in their Prime but I I remember bringing both of those guys back and just being uh just being extremely excited right like this was you to me at least an example of the organization you know giving back to two franchise Legends so karti is going to be back with the green and white as far as this offseason is concerned let me know your thoughts Down Below in the comment section thanks so much for watching and as always go chats [Music]

  14. That's some great nostalgia. Happy to have Cro back. Would love for Bilal Powell to have the same opportunity or something. One of the most underrated Jets of that era.

    Hope he can pass on some knowledge to the young guys in the locker room.
