  1. idk why he’d sign here but that’s a cheap ass deal and we can flip him to a contender I’ll take it

  2. only $10M per year is a good deal. idk why he would do this. i would think he had some offers from better teams, but i like it?

  3. Of course we grant Sarr his wish of not having to play the 5. But an underrated aspect of this trade is having an actual rebounding center to collect all of Kuzma and Poole’s bricks 🧱

  4. Someone to catch them Embid dirty elbows to the face. We gotta be trading Kuz we cant have Sarr coming off the bench.

  5. If anyone tries to bully Bilal or Sarr they gonna have a size 17 up they ass.

I’m confused, Are we trying to win?

  6. Jonas just played all 82 and gave 12 and 9 in only 24mins. This is an absolute steal at 10mil. Do we run Kuz at the 3 or trade him in the near future??? Stay tuned my ppl.

  7. Great move imo, we have a lot of youngsters on the roster that need adult presence to become the type of pros we want… otherwise we can easily become like the Pistons or Rockets pre-Udoka

  8. He must really like public transportation and happy hours but alright ill take it

  9. The reverse Mahinmi. Solid player, great contract. And he’ll be easy to flip in 2 years for more draft capital if we wanted. New FO is killing it

  10. Christie + a lakers 1st in February is going to hit like crack 🔥🔥🔥

  11. This is an amazing steal of a deal on a very solid center. This front office is doing some exciting stuff lol

  12. Woah. So many thoughts.

    1. That seems really cheap. I like Val and I think he will be easy to move. Shocked he didn’t have a better offer than that and would come here. Makes me feel really good about this FO.

    2. This signals to me that Sarr is not playing center and I think that is ultimately why we made this move. Not sure I’d call Val a floor spacer but he is as far as centers go. Sarr needs a center than can space the floor to play beside. We now have a perfect combo between him and assuming we resign vuk (if not vuk ill be pissed)

    3. Interesting we went with someone this good. Makes me slightly nervous that we will actually have a roster decent enough to be on the heels of the play-in between him, Kuz and brogdon if they all play to their talent and stay healthy. Would suck to get 30 wins accidentally. But I’ll let the FO continue to cook

    4. Fantastic mentor for Vuk. We better resign him

    5. I guess we aren’t even trying to rehab Holmes’ value? Fine with me I guess.

  13. that’s cheap af but we have 50 centers on the roster

I’m beginning to worry about Vuk’s future on the team

  14. This is such a cheap deal!! We can later flip him and Brogdan for even more assets

  15. Kind of surprised they addressed the rebounding issue now, kind of thought we’d go another season with a weak C rotation as a way of tanking again.

  16. We took another piece off the board for the Lakers lol. Now can we plz resign Vuk!

  17. Not sure if this is still the case but back in the day at the raptors v wiz games there was always a huge Lithuanian section chanting his name every time he’d get in the game or touch the ball.

Been a fan of him since then so very happy to see this!

  18. Bro if yall thought first quarter KP was fun to watch we about to have another animal here. JV gonna be solid tho he can do his thing teach his ways to Sarr also and help us tank.

  19. Such a perfect deal for so many reasons. JV is poor defensively but that doesn’t really matter as a tanking team. He’s a legit big man that can help the young guys develop with a screen setter, dumpoff option and allows Sarr to play the 4. He’s also a serious scoring option, he’ll average 18-20 ppg in the post if given minutes which will give the young guys some relief. Finally, that contract is so cheap and insanely tradeable.

  20. No team wanted to offer better deal out of apron fear I guess, wiz was like, sure why not, and now he’s here. Good for us I guess no need for Mitch. His agent should probably be fired. Getting paid less than Cp0 in 2024 is crazy. Also he’s the exact type of center that needs a JJJ type player we want Sarr to be.

  21. We haven’t had any free agents come here in long time finally nice to have somewhat cap space for once.

  22. Surprised by this one. Either Sarr isn’t going to start this year or Kuz is moving to 3, which explains the Deni trade even more.

Poole/Kispert/Kuz/Sarr/Val? Bilal and Carrington bench scorers. What’s the deal w Tyus/Brogdon?

  23. This feels like pure cap gymnastics, but I don’t hate it I guess. $3M less than we would be paying Gaff this year had we not traded him.

  24. What this actually probably means is, AG’s time is up. Too many guys to sign. It’s been real my guy. Build him a statue in the locker room. 😭

  25. Any chance this is another descending contract like Kuz and Deni?

It would be good for us and for Jonas by fronting him money and making it easier to flip him later, particularly to a team that can compete and wants him … which is presumably where he’d want to be later?

  26. He’s great in the PnR… excited to see him and Poole teach Bub and Sarr the ins and outs of the PnR game at the highest level.

  27. Wow that looks like a steal of a contract. We have a legit center now finally lol

  28. Funny how we lost our two big men Gafford and Porziņģis to Sarr and Valanciunas

  29. Fucking DawkWing strikes again.

Genuinely never thought I’d live to see a competent Wizards FO.
