Rangers vs. Orioles Game Highlights (6/30/24) | MLB Highlights

and on the mound tonight is Cole Irvin the Lefty he was outstanding and the last couple of starts not as good yeah he’s a strike thrower he’s tough on left-handed batters but yeah coming in on a little bit of a lull as you see there on those last three starts 17 earned runs Simeon batting 237 11 homers that ball smoked to left field that sends Hayes back and he makes a running catch on the track what a start to Sunday Night Baseball Walmore that’s one word and it has been a sensation I believe here as soon as that wall was moved back this used to be a home run folks not anymore this is Josh Smith a 288 hitter seven homers and again playing Short Stop tonight for the injur Cory Seager and that one hit him so some lack of control there during that atat Irvin the question is did that get him on the bat or the arm CU he’s not leaving and that’s that’s the knob of the bat right off the knob sort of have to sell that a lot more and that is line to the third baseman Westberg Texas is shaking its head a couple of balls that felt like they could drop one for extra base hit and another for a single and they are two down frustrating start right here for the Texas Rangers two hard shots this one perfect placement right there a nice job at Third Base by Jordan Westberg Gman hitting 220 with a homer and 11 runs bad at in swung on and missed Cole Irvin sets him down a curveball to Grossman gets the chase no score as gunar Henderson leads off against Andrew heney Lefty against Lefty Henderson hitting 292 26 homers Gunner tonight wearing a special pair of cleats gifted to him by Eduardo Perez earlier today these are awesome these will definitely be worn tonight so stay tuned happy birthday thank you to two and he’s set down Gunner not buying a low fast ball from Heeney that just Clips The Zone hey starts things off with a strike out and Henderson with the new cats will return to the Dugout adley comes in at 298 he’s got 15 homers 55 RBI that’s a swing and a miss it gets all the way to the back stop and Rutman is going down to First and he will make it easily as it got by gizer he took addly a few seconds to realize it gner went to Chase and he is aboard and as good as this team has been it has been booed by this guy right here Anthony Santander the right fielder who’s got 13 homers in June most by an orial in the month ever this one is lifted deep to left field that sends Langford back and that’s another Walmore fly out would have been a homer a few years ago but that is taken away from sandas Langford got it up on the track and I think we might see the same response as we saw earlier in what ballpark this would be out no score here’s Westberg and he swings it’s a slow ground ball to short charged by Smith he’ll throw to first sidearm to get the out and that will close out the Orioles first so heny required to get four outs in the inning it was not a really good throw from the third baseman Westberg it was high made it difficult for Mato to make a perfect throw to first and that brings up Derek hill hill who hit his first big league home run of the Season yesterday a solo shot the left Center 3-2 pitch is hit high and deep out into the left field Hayes is going back still going back he’s turning to look and this one is just up over the 398 marker into the bird bath Derek Hill with home runs in back-to-back games his first two of the season and he’s put Texas on top here two nothing sneaky power is how Bruce Boi described it and the Orioles inability to turn it double play has cost them two runs they should have been out of this inning so the Orioles get right back to cooking Hayes who came in a 500 hitter facing HEI and in comes Ryan o’ this one is going to get into center field hay being waved in throw from center field cut off and it’s 2 to one Ryan o’ Hearns 34th RBI of the season on a single to Center here we are again as gunar Henderson is kind enough to wear the mic phone thanks Gunner for doing this so adley last year of course was in the Home Run Derby and given the start you had have you ever given thought to something like that yeah I thought it would uh it’ be pretty cool and um yeah it be first announcement that I’m I’m doing the Home Run Derby this year this year W that’s awesome well thank you very much for participating yes sir day after he turns 23 he s in the Home Run Derby I love that all right listen closely we got a fan question for you hey gunar uh it’s your best friend here uh if you look behind your left shoulder uh I’m going to be right behind you but uh just wanted to know uh who is your favorite guy to play video games with on the team and uh why is it me yeah well he hasn’t played with played on the video games with me in like two weeks come ball gets away rman throws it down stolen base there Simeon yeah he uh he has not play with me in forever so um is that a fear thing like why do that happen yeah I don’t know he uh just never never hopped on one day and haven’t played with him in a while so I’m going to say Cole Irvin wow oh right back at Irvin and he snares it there we go fist pump from Cole Irvin thank you to gunar Henderson Lankford 0 for one flying to right is only time up Lankford gets in at this one to left that turns Hayes around he’s at the wall can’t make the catch it is stuck in the bottom of the wall lford thinking three here here he comes here’s the throw safe with a triple a booming shot for Wyatt Langford that would have been a home run in the old days here and Austin Hayes just couldn’t quite get to it that ball left the bat at 104 mil an hour with the Rangers already up by a score of 2 to1 and now Nathaniel low and there’s a swing and a base at the center field make it 3 to one as Nathaniel lines a sinker out to Center this is a Rangers club that is struggling right now and Bruce Bo knows it hner send that one over the head of the short stop Henderson it’s into left field and the Rangers lead it 4 to one Josh Smith will try to bring kizner in from third swung on line drive center field base hit for Josh it’s 5 to one and it brings up hon Kat the left-handed batter who flyed to Center his first time up he sends this one to left that’s going to get down Frankford will cut it off that allows Hayes to score being held there at third as Oar and a double for the hit machine hon kirad all the Razer back fans they know this is where H kirad made his living early on his freshman sophomore year until he was able to learn how to pull the ball stayed back with that lift and is able to drive it into the left center field Rangers have a 5-2 Advantage Baltimore is already in the bullpen with Nick besby and that one is past the dive of Matta Langford thinks about two he’s aggressive and going and he’s in there safely wowow Wyatt Langford took one look and it was Green Light Special RBI for Wyatt he’s halfway to the cycle with a double and a triple here’s Nate low and he grounds a q shot over third it’s a fair ball down the left field line Langford scores low digging for second here’s the throw the tag he’s safe at second base with a double New York has looked at it this one was a lot closer than the other one and he looks like was out may have been tagged on the pleat before it got to the bag oh yeah after review the call on the field is overturned the runner is out decide on whether the runner is safe or out it is two more runs scored as this one continues to skip away from the O’s Hill gets into another one left center field and deep and gone again what a night what a couple of nights for Derek Hill his second tonight why had Langford coming up next he needs a home run for the cycle so buckle your seat belts he tripled in the fourth doubled in the fifth singled in the sixth and here he is in the eighth we have never had a cycle on Sunday Night Baseball Here Comes crook a swing and a drive deep down the line and left it’s hooking at the foul pole that ball is history Wyatt Langford has hit for the cycle it’s a three run Jimmy Jack to finish it off and the Rangers lead 11-2 the rookie just keeps doing amazing things every home run is special and inside the park Homer a grand slam and now a three-run homer to complete a cycle Colton cower Conor Henderson awaits one more opportunity Carly if if gunar Henderson winds up extending his streak reaching base here in this inning are you off the hook what did I do the shoe thing you gave it [Applause] to nope it’s on me sorry gunar my bad Texas is a winner tonight 112 on a night Wyatt Langford that guy right there hits for the cycle

  1. It seems like every once in a while, the Rangers do something out of the ordinary at Baltimore's stadium. Now we can add Wyatt's cycle to Josh Hamilton's 4 HR game and that time the Rangers scored 30 runs.

  2. What a call up Derek Hill has been. Langford looking like the player we knew he was. Also I think having Semien bat lower in the order would help this team and him tremendously. He’s had a rough couple of series bunch of 0/4s and 0/5s lately

  3. I’m tired of them hitting us, 5 times! 5 times today the Orioles hit the Rangers, Heaney hit one O, almost seems on purpose at this point especially since they took out Corey yesterday!
