Wut
Average defender, absolutely non existent offensively. Depth piece for $5 million per.
Big game hunting baby!
He replaces Yurtseven at a higher cost. If I’m remembering right he had a stretch of games where he looked really good, and since then he’s been bad. This is certainly a move
Have to spend money but hopefully it’s a team option next year
Meh
Why? Takes minutes from Kyle, and Walker if we keep him. Apparently Suns fans treated him like he was evil. Better be a team option second year, but why not just keep Omer
I guess we do need to spend the capspace somehow
Does this mean we have plans to ship lauri ? 🥹
Anyways… back to what I was saying
Would rather have Yurtseven.
Depth piece that can be salary in a future trade. I expect a few more moves like this.
Utah Jazz try to not create the whitest team ever challenge (impossible)
One of the worst players in the NBA so not really a signal we plan to compete next year if one of our 9 roster slots going to players over 21 years old is this guy.
The total lack of upside this signing has is surprising though. I would have expected the Jazz to try Goga as he has a chance to be a real NBA players, Eubanks will never be good.
I’m guessing he will be our new THT as he plays ahead of our developing bigs.
Gonna be moved before the deadline I can feel it
Looking more and more like Lauri is packing his bags. I get were tanking, but it’s starting to feel like we’re a minor league team-devolpe the player and ship them off.
Hoping its a team option for season 2. Doesnt make a ton of sense to me to spend more than vet minimum for a backup center but i guess we will see.
These are the kind of moves you do just hit the 90% salary cap floor so as not to get penalized under the new CBA
Decent limited minutes role player, not a game changer by any means. Effort guy, I remember really liking his game when he was in the g league cooking us during summer league
Gritty player and has very similar measurements to Filipowski. Perhaps they’re bringing him in to show Kyle how he can defend and protect the rim at this size
Maybe someone Ainge and Hardy think they can develop?
“Lauri likely to be traded”
“3rd string center signed for 5m/year”
Just another day in Jazz fandom
As a Suns fan: thank you for taking that pile of garbage off our hands
When you have a chance to trade Gobert for Collins and Eubanks, how can you resist?
Jazz are reportedly looking to trade Lauri for future draft compensation.
The new ownership might as well move the team to the Gleague.
