  1. Sure would have been nice to have those picks for this draft but damn, this is great work by Dubas.

  2. Damn good value. Maybe could have gotten more at the deadline but also could have gotten far less if he got injured or struggled.

    And it’s not Trouba

  3. Hell yeah!! I don’t expect this team to turnaround quickly. Come 2030?! We may have something!

  4. Added three picks so far, and two guys that will likely be flipped for more down the road. We love to see it.

  5. All you kyle dubas haters sit down and SHUT UP!!! HE COOKED THE RANGERS AND COOKED YOUR BEHINDS RIGHT ALONG WITH THEM!!

  6. This has me smiling like crazy at my desk lol, so happy I don’t have to watch this guy and his deadbeat attitude anymore. Plus, the added bonus of knowing he’ll do a vanishing act whenever the Rangers need him most. Just a glorious trade.

  7. even if smith turns around and sets the world on fire this is an incredible trade for the pens. just don’t do anything stupid with the cap space.

    offer sheet pinto kyle

  8. 34 year old on an expiring contract making 5 million and got another good draft pick, great work

Now will probably use the cap space on someone like Beauvillier

  9. People still gonna find a way to hate on Dubas after he has done so much right this offseason

  10. Where are full details of the trade? How do you know salary was not retained?

  11. Can we please invest in our scouting dept. so these picks don’t go to waste.

  12. 25% retained kinda takes my excitement level of this trade from “ultra hyped” to “just glad he’s gone and we can move forward now”

  13. Solid move. Still some dead weight on the roster that I’d like to see gone.

Fingers 🤞the day gets better with other moves.

  14. This sub was right all along. He’s clearing cap space for a team-friendly Guentzel deal.

  15. Don’t know if I’ve ever seen a play look more disinterested than he did. What a waste of 5 million he ended up being. Good riddance.
