[Wind] Nikola Jokic has pushed behind the scenes for the Nuggets to get Russell Westbrook. This isn’t the first time he’s wanted to play with him in Denver either. Westbrook would give Michael Malone a trusted, veteran ball handler, which is something the Nuggets need right now.

  1. Nikola using Russ to get Kawhi to request a trade here at the deadline or next season wow he really does see 20 moves in advance

  2. I mean, if Westbrook doesn’t play hero ball, comes off the bench and can play good minutes without chuckin it, I can see it working. That’s big ‘ifs’, though.

  3. You want me to believe that Jokic while being on Serbian pre-Olympic training camp is pushing for trading for some player, yeah good luck. Don’t really know the source, but this sounds like garbage info.

  4. All I can say is I trust Jokic more than I trust me, and I’m desperate for good feelings right now.

  5. I firmly believe this rumor was pushed by management to make it look better when we draft Westbrook in what is a disastrous off season .

Why on earth would Jokic care for Westbrook out of all the other options LOL.

  6. Looking at how terrible our bench and lack of aggression and scoring from there is. HECK GIVE ME WESTBROOK I TAKE IT. We need anyone who can take shots, attack the rim, be aggressive and putting reckless aggression into the paint with stupid drives like the ones WB do to miss most of the times.

  7. This is the first time I’ve ever heard Jokic pushing to get a player on his team and it’s Russ lmao. The best player in the league thinks Russ still has juice left, gotta honor that

  8. Maybe this is just copium but as long as he’s content to run the second unit, I think Westbrook is a better fit here than he has been at most of his other stops over the last several years. Instead of trying to integrate the first and second unit like most teams, Malone mostly runs each unit as a whole separate from one another, so when Westbrook was out there he would be expected to run the team. And sure, he’s not going to run the first unit on a contender, but I absolutely believe he can run the second unit for one.
