I have no idea who this is, but why not.
If he gets 3 good starts, he automatically becomes the best Z player for the Brewers (which right now would be Jordan Zimmermann, who I completely forgot about being signed in 2021)
Edit: Just looked at Zimmermann’s BRef page. One good start ought to do it actually.
In case anyone else is wondering, because I had to look it up. He has not started a game in the minors this year. 28.1 innings over 28 games, so this is definitely an opener situation.
Huh, Canadian born. Maybe Murph wanted to give him a start on Canada day? That would be pretty neat. Also always excited to see what some of our lesser known names can do.
This should be interesting. I’m thinking he’s being used as an opener as he’s a lefty and then Wilson will come in?
So basically Koenigs “opener” replacement.
I assume we will see Wilson come in at the start of the second.
Hey – that (15 different starters) is pretty much the equivalent of 3 full/different starting rotations.

All these starters…
Great pair him with Wilson and Rea and we should be able to get 9 innings… though down by 23 runs
As long as he can keep the ball inside Coors Field I’m fine.
I think it is important to keep in mind those aren’t all real starters. Same thing with the quotes on how many innings we have used the bullpen and how low the ip/g is. None of that is real. We will have used an opener in almost 10% of our games after tonight. It makes all those stats flawed.
