Lakers Miss On Klay Thompson, What Do They Do Now?

It looks as though Klay Thompson is choosing the Mavs over the Lakers. What does LA do now?

  1. Why blame the office every year y'all like what the office do, when it don't work y'all throw Rob under the bus but not clutch!!!!!!? Wanted kuz out now y'all crying to bring him back………

  2. Mavs are legit title contenders, our Lakers are sadly a joke, the Buss children have been poor custodians of their father's legacy and as a GM Pelinka leaves a lot to be desired and I think other GMs still hate him for all his time as a Players Agent, the Covid championship season was a happy accident, if a full regular season had been played then highly possible LeBron or AD or both go down at some point, that they stayed healthy most of this last season was amazing and is highly improbable to happen again, the shame is it was wasted on a moron coach…

  3. The lakers are to slow they people are going to wait on them everyone praises rob but he’s trash the only thing rob could handle was west brick.

  4. Man take rob out the front office put em in the back office tell his ass hop in that trash can so we can take out the trash.. wasting Lebron last few years away

  5. I think the lakers should focus on 1st, a real center. And if we can trade for walker kesler, it's gonna be great. 22 years old rim protector who can bang in the post and is quick with his mobility. He can also shoot from the mid range and the three. He could be our center of the future. 2nd, is a guard who's steady. Why not tyus jones. He can score from all areas and is a smooth operator as a point guard. Not turn over prone. Not very good as a defender but just as bad or as good as dlo in defense. 3rd, get demar de rosan in the free agency. And that's it we're ready to go. Note: our last season's roster, i believe, is just 2 or 3 players away from contention. If i remember it right, we're leading from 1st up to middle of 3rd qtr mist notably during our battles with denver. I thing that's because we're loosing gas. We need extra push because ad and lbj by that time is so consumed already. A steady guard who can score specially in the arc, and a real center who can help ad specially in rebounding and defending the paint. A new coaching philosophy could change the way a team plays.

  6. Using all grades between A+ through C-
    without repeating.
    Rate these trade targets.

    Trae Young $43,031,940
    Zach Lavine $43,031,940
    Darius Garland $36,725,670
    Donovan Mitchell $35,410,310
    Jerami Grant $29,793,104
    Anfernee Simons $25,892,857
    Marcus Smart $19,960,285
    Lauri Markkanen $18,044,544
    Wendell Carter $11,950,000

  7. Rob is a weak AF GM. Jeannie should fire him and put Bob Myers. But she's cheap. Also, the truth is, that a lot of players are hesitant to jump into the Bron/Bronny/JJ clown show. Klay did the right move, he is going into a contender and saving money in taxes. Can't blame the guy.

  8. I thought Klay would come here because we always get more name than game players at end of their careers and we are doing the year of fathers and sons so ergo it felt right … I’m glad he isn’t coming but yet feel let down because it seemed that he would

  9. Klay Thompson is an older version of DLO. A 3 point inconsistent shooter who if their shots aren’t falling they are defensive liabilities. I guess nobody Remembers the in season tournament games that GSW played right? Klay scored ZERO points 0/10 FG 0/6 3pts. Absolutely choked in that game. That’s concerning for putting all your hopes and dreams into a player who is injury prone and will be 38 years old when their contract expires. Yes Rob and Jeanie need to do something but for me Thompson wasn’t it! My opinion may not be yours. Plus glad they didn’t send trade pieces to the Warriors like Klay and his agent is trying to get Dallas to do. Tried of the GSW vs Lakers fake rivalry anyway.

  10. Trevor again you missed the point LeBron James who clearly is running the team. Said he was willing to take a pay cut. He even admitted that he picked up the phone and spoke to Klay thompson. And he couldn't sell Klay Thompson to play for the Lakers. Why you want to know why. The reason is is that Klay Thompson is smart enough to know he doesn't want to join the Lakers circus

  11. Trevor you have been making excuses for the organization and stop telling the people to be patient when the players are coming off the board…. Forget about Lebron taking a pay cut how about we find a way to trade that sorry ass Gabe Vincent that would open the MLE a long with another small move… Trevor l, you aren’t anymore in tune with the Lakers than an average Laker fan you going by the same alerts as us, we all know what we have to do not just you dude so stop getting overwhelmed by the fanbase’s response when at the end you will feel exactly how we do at the end we aren’t dumb we see what’s happening… Go get Demar Derozen and stop making excuses

  12. I'm happy running it back next year. I still like the Lakers team and adding Knecht means the roster has actually improved.

This obsession with adding a 4th center to the team remains silly.

  13. Klay is washed up but 3yrs 50mil isn’t a bad gamble. Personally I ain’t sad missing out on him. He is a hot headed biatch when things aren’t going his way.
