Travis Kelce DETAILS how the Raiders Ruined Christmas for him..

Travis Kelce was recently on a podcast where he basically admitted that the chiefs were scared of the Las Vegas Raiders on Christmas Day check out what he had to say we got our ass beat by the Raiders on Christmas the Raiders ruined Christmas god dude Pace has got the he had those dudes ready to ready to brawl right there on the field they are kind old school Raiders 100% man and I love that and I was like man if we play with that kind of edge or that kind of like toughness that kind of like don’t with us mentality like we won’t be stopped yeah and it just kind of it ended up like that but that Raiders game was definitely one of the turning points for sure so Antonio Pierce had this group fired up right he had this group ready to braw according to Travis Kelce Antonio Pierce had this group so fired up and energized that the Chiefs just couldn’t match that same energy and ultimately the Raiders ended up beating the Kansas City Chiefs on Christmas day but I want to talk about why think this energy that the Raiders played with can actually translate into the 2024 NFL season you know when I look at last year’s team and I look at that roster and I look at this team Year’s team and this year’s roster everything that the Raiders did from last year to this year was basically upgraded you can look across the board you look at the offensive line the Raiders offensive Line’s going to be better this season you look at the defensive line you have basically the same exact guys the only difference is you’re going to have a year or two Ty Wilson you’re going to have a year or two Byron young which we don’t know the upside on those guys you have a year four Malcolm Coons you got Adam Butler in the same scheme for the second straight season and then of course you add Christian wikins who’s one of the highest paid defensive tackles at this point he’s a top five to7 defensive tackle in the NFL to me the Raiders got so much better across the board you look at the corners the linebackers I think the Raiders are actually going to be better this season based off of the guys that they ultimately brought in the guys that they brought back the guys that they did lose for example Meek Robertson I don’t think was that good anyways so I think the Raiders are is generally speaking going to be a lot better on the defensive side and then when you look at the quarterback position you’re basically going to either have a year two Aiden mconnell who should be a lot better than the rookie aen a Connell and if it’s not that guy then you’ll have Garner muu who’s shown us to have success in the NFL right Garner M’s had success he’s a guy that has upside and to me when you look at the Las Vegas Raiders across the board you are a better football team so when I look the Las Vegas Raiders and I look at what they ultimately ended up doing last season and how they can have that same success this season it actually really fires me up right there’s so much better from last year to this year and there’s just no way they should not have more success plus I think one of the ways that the Raiders will have success this season is really going to come down to coaching it’s going to come down to the depth players and I you know I’ve talked about this in the past but I think the Raiders are a very very deep roster if you guys look across the board even last season right it really showed up for the Raiders to have success last season we didn’t think of Malcolm Coons as like a top three player and he’s probably not that this season either but last season malcol Co was a dep player right he’s a rotational player Jack Jones when we picked him up we didn’t think of this guy as a top 10 Corner potentially we looked at him as a dep player last year right he’s a guy that can come in he’s a guy that may compete he’s a guy that can have success and although we might think differently of those guys this season last season that was not the case and last season the Las Vegas Raiders de players made those plays that allowed them to win games Jack Jones had a pick six against the Chiefs m pun had multiple pressures sacks he you know consistently got after it Adam Butler stepped up we had some other guys linebackers that rotated in and and kind of stepped up for the Raiders and last season what the Raiders had was good depth but this year I think they have great depth I think this year the Raiders depth is so much better and I think as we go forward we’re going to really start to see that come alive here I think in the second year we have good depth I think at linebacker we have good depth defensive Line’s incredible you look at the o line we have I think two or three really really good backup offensive lineman you know Dylan parm goes down Andress Pete can step in Cody whitehair can step in honor James Goes Down Dylan Palm can move over with the other two guys essentially stepping in you look at the wide receivers if Devonte Adams goes down jacobe Meyers and Trey Tucker can carry the load for the Raiders at least in my opinion I think they’d be a two you know two really really good wide receivers of course Dante Adams better but I think those two guys could do a good job Brock Bowers Michael Mayer right the depth across the board is incredible for the Raiders and I think what we saw against the Kansas City Chiefs last year on Christmas Day I think that’s going to continue this season I think there’s a real chance that the Las Vegas Raiders end up having a lot of success this season and Travis Kelce giving credit to the Raiders might also be a realization for him because last year he said something completely different I don’t know if you guys remember this but he said something way different let’s move on to the next game Trev Chiefs 14 Raiders 20 yeah man that was uh that was embarrassing not a Merry Christmas in Arrowhead what do you got what are your what are your first thoughts I mean we just we handed we handed that team a win on Christmas we literally played Santa and gave him a present I mean I’d be hard pressed to disagree with you but let’s uh all I got for you is that we are that was embarrassing um Everybody in the building knows how embarrassing that was so again maybe he’s realized something maybe he’s come to the conclusion that the Raiders should actually be a lot better this season I’m really excited for the Las Vegas Raiders I think coach Antonio Pierce has done a really really good job up to this point and I do hope that the offense can match coach Antonio Pierce I hope they can
