  1. Dude was great for us in the past and had a really rough year off the ice. I genuinely wish him the best.

  2. It’s probably best for him there. No pressure and just play without the expectation of a playoff spot or cup. He was great for us but unfortunately just too slow now

  3. played well for 2 1/2 seasons before stinking last playoffs and carried over this year. Appreciate what he did but I’m not going to miss him not shooting the puck.

  4. Brodie was excellent for so much of that contract and I really hope that last year doesn’t tarnish the fanbase’s memories of him. Good luck in the rest of your career TJ, you were a great Leaf.

  5. Dude was a great defenseman for like 70% of his time here, and terrible for the last 30%. Hopefully things go well in Chicago.

  6. Man I know this year he was off his game but I genuinely loved Brodie.

For the majority of his time in Toronto, I loved his game

  7. he had a dramatic fall off last year, but he was consistently one of our best d-men for a while. he went through a lot of personal stuff last year and i hope he bounces back

  8. I wish TJ and his family well. You’ve been good to us mate! Wish you nothing but the best

  9. Tidy work by Davidson.

Hope TJ bounces back – good veteran guy to add to an inexperienced core, and one that they will definitely be able to recoup some assets for should they go the trade route.

  10. His first play of the season he tripped over our own blue line gave them the puck and opponent scored first shot first goal. Broadie was crap from day one. Giveaway specialist

  11. Chicago is just looking at the Leafs’ UFAs and going “Yeeeesssss…. mooooooorrrrre…”

  12. I really loved Brodie. Rough year last year. But he had some great solid plays in years past

  13. Hopefully the fan base will remember him for the player he was when we first got him rather than judge him by his last season and a half.

  14. Loved Brodie. He was always the silent reliable pillar on the backend. I know he had a down year last year but I’ll always appreciate what he brought before that.

  15. Brodie was actually my favourite pick up by Dubas. Hopefully he finds his rhythm again.

  16. Kind of have to ignore the number when Chicago is involved. Have to imagine he’ll be a great dude to teach the young D-men over there how to get the most out of their talent.
