[@GrantAfseth] Luka Doncic on playing for Slovenia coming off a long NBA season: “We’re two million [population], and to represent this country means everything to me. I want to say thanks to Dallas for letting me play… I always know I’m going to play, so it’s a big honor for me.”

  1. Why is this man not resting.. slovenia wasnt going to make it far anyways, and now with these trades we have an even better chance of making the finals again next season. We need luka in tip top shape and to be healthy dammit!!

  2. I’m from Slovenia and everyone I talk to feels he shouldn’t be here because 1. he is clearly injured and 2. we have no chance to qualify. The sooner this is over, the better.

  3. Love that he can do this for his country and national pride. I can’t help but think some of the opinions would be different if he were playing for team USA. (Not that they need him but my point is he’s not just playing to play, he’s representing his country)
