here on today’s show we’re going to be breaking down the trade details the trade and the sign and trade details which is actually what it was talking about how Kyle Anderson would possibly fit on both sides of the ball for the Golden State Warriors and then on the back half of the show what does this mean for the Warriors possibly still being interested in Lori marinan let’s go ahead and break down the W bomb that just happened here on a very very slow NBA free agency free agent Kyle Anderson is planning to sign a threeyear $27 million deal with the Golden State Warriors he’ll land with warriors on a sign and trade with Minnesota W Janowski then go went to quote his own tweet talking more in depth about the details saying golden state is sending Minnesota a future second round pick swap in cash in the sign and trade sources tell ESPN overall this was the top free agent coming out of Minnesota I think it can end up being a pretty good fit here for the Warriors on both sides of the threeyear $27 million deal like I said the third year of the deal is non guaranteed he fits into the just created Klay Thompson tpe and is essentially the return for Thompson’s departure now you’re not going to be able to recreate Klay Thompson what he has done over the last decade for the Golden State Warriors that’s never happening even Steph Curry posted on his Instagram story earlier today saying they will never nobody will ever be able to do what we did but now we start new Kyle Anderson coming in here here’s what he brings to the table about six and a half points per game so obviously you’re not getting the 17 points per game that Klay Thompson was bringing in four and a half assists that’s great in terms of facilitating the ball to Steph Curry three and a half boards and 46% from the field but here’s the bright light in what just happened here coming to the Golden State Warriors Anderson is is that he’s kind of coming off his Worst season with the Minnesota Timberwolves he actually was a pretty good role player for the Timberwolves in the last couple of Seasons he did go through a bit of an eye injury off and on in this regular season but six and a half points per game does not compare to the almost 10 points he had the year before that so it does sound like he hit kind of a low but Timberwolves fans loved him and I see why he’s a pretty good Defender here and he can definitely suffice that on the the defensive side of the ball and it could be an off good off ball screener as well but like I said he was dealing with a bit of an eye injury that was dealing making it hard for his perception of passes in the basket so thankfully he has now since returned from that but I don’t know if it’s still lingering so that’s definitely something to keep an eye on here that Kyle Anderson was injured for a lot there for the Minnesota Timberwolves but I do think he’ll fit in pretty seamlessly with this Golden State Warriors I think he and Melton could also be a very perfect and perfect kind of puzzle piece into this very messy puzzle I should say for the Golden State Warriors trying to figure out what works what doesn’t work right now but I think this is just good support for Steph he and Anthony Mountain will be good support for Steph but without another shot Creator it still might not be enough you saw that with his assists he can do well facilitating the basketball but in terms of spreading out the offense that’ll be something interesting to watch here especially with now adding a power forward small forward with Jonathan kaminga you got Draymond Green in there on that depth chart right now if you do move tjd to that Center spot so overall it’s going to be pretty interesting to see how Kyle Anderson will fit I’m going to go immediately coming off the bench if they do decide to keep Jonathan kaminga then I think Kyle Anderson could be a pretty good fit coming off the bench for him but that’s the question are they keeping Jonathan kaminga because the last I heard is that Lori marinin was their top Target in NBA free agency I know that all the teams out there want Jonathan kaminga I don’t blame him man he’s freaking amazing but I know the Warriors also see how great he is they don’t want to give up Jonathan kaminga but the last I saw on X was that they were very high on lri marinin and here’s what Joe had to say recently about the signing of Kyle Anderson and what this means are the Warriors so going after lri what are we missing here and he said before anyone says using the tpe on slow-mo which is Kyle Anderson brings him out of the Lorry sweep state they can’t use the tpe on him anyways since it won’t fit L’s $18 million contract I don’t think they’re getting him anyway so it might be moot so Joe is pretty much out on the Lorry situation I’m not just yet I think the Warriors can still try to figure out something cuz why all they’ve done so far is give away cash considerations and a second round pick but they have also received second round picks for Klay Thompson for Chris Paul I do think that if the money is there they could still absolutely go out and get Lori but here’s what NBA Central had to say Monty pool of NBC Sports Bay Area has come out saying that the Warriors are actively trying to go all in on Lori that’s why my initial thought here is crap does that mean Jonathan kaminga because other than Steph Curry I think Jonathan kaminga is probably one of your top priorities here for the Warriors roster and if all inin means giving up JK I’m out I’m out you guys know I am high on Jonathan kaminga but it is good to know that just because they use the tpe on Kyle Anderson doesn’t mean they’re out of the lari sweep stakes and here’s what could be happening if the Utah Jazz star does come to the Bay Area 41.8% catch and shoot from downtown beautiful it’s not the Splash Brothers but it gives me that same feeling Corner three-point shooting 43% even better a dagger from the corner above the break three-point percentage 39% three-point attempts and percentage rate 49.3 true shooting 63% you if you wanted to get a a good two-way player there I think Kyle Anderson could absolutely be that but if you want to get a shot Creator I think lri is the guy for you you have Kyle Anderson you got DeAnthony Melton to spread out the offense for you facilitate assist possibly get some o boards there but if you put Curry and marinan together then you have the actual shot takers which can Elevate the Warriors like that and once more here’s what Kyle Anderson is bringing to the table but I also want to break down the trade here and tell you guys what the Warriors just so you have a visual aspect to see here of what they ended up trading away to Minnesota in order to have this sign and trade workout Bri and Kyle Anderson to the Bay Area the six and a half Point per game Ford that just recently played for the Minnesota Timberwolves so Kyle Anderson he’s going to come to the Bay Area but we are sending away future two second round pick Swap and cash assets so this is they’re just throwing around second picks second round picks like none other this free agency so far but I’m glad to see that they are getting a player back this time for sending out something so overall this is the sign and trade details that the Warriors in the Minnesota Timberwolves did come to a conclusion on which does bring Kyle Anderson to the Bay Area I don’t know if the Warriors are completely done I would hope not because I do hope that aori marinin deal of   2. Louri markkanen is more developed than JK right now and not to mention he's 7 ft sometimes in order for you to get a potential great player you have to give up a good player the warriors need to make that trade.
