STEVE YZERMAN MAKES ANOTHER FANTASTIC MOVE: DETROIT RED WINGS SIGN TYLER MOTTE

Steve Eiserman how are you able to do this man how you know what Detroit Red Wings fans this is an absolutely amazing move don’t try to be sarcastic about this don’t try to get all snarky about this the top reply oh wow this guy is so amazing six goals three assists 69 games played he is so amazing man like oh we’re not going to be making the playoffs this guy is so bad like no calm it guys com it this might be my new favorite Detroit Red Wings player the Red Wings today sign forward Tyler Mott to a one-year contract with an aav of $800,000 and you may see Canucks fans like me go out there and wax poetic about this guy to no end you may see Rangers fans do the same thing you might see Tampa Bay Lightning Fans Say similar things even though this guy doesn’t get any points nine points 69 games played six goals three assists with the Tampa Bay Lightning okay that’s not extravagant that’s not too amazing why would people care about this guy he maxed out in a career year getting 16 points in 74 Vancouver conu games why would people be all over this guy well here’s the thing you talk about Christian fiser and why that guy is such a valuable player for the Detroit Red Wings a guy who just knows how to go a guy who’s got that work ethic a guy who’s just got that dog in him Tyler mot in my opinion is like Christian fiser on steroids he is even more aggressive just all up in there he is a Michigan boy so I guess that’s why he had signed with the Red Wings I’ll tell you this right here if the Vancouver Canucks found a way to sign Tyler M to one-year contract with an aav of $800,000 I would have been over the moon I would have said that’s the best signing Patrick Aline would have made all free agency but instead he goes to his hometown Wings he used to play for the Michigan Wolverines he was a stud in that organization was playing with guys like Dylan Lin he was playing with KY Connor he had a whole bunch of teammates that were super good he was right up in there in point production you can see him m conf or him M yeah I’m talking about M mot Comer Connor that was the Top Line guess where JT Comer’s playing right now with the Red Wings you go over to the year in the past there Tyler M was playing with Comer cop and Dylan Lin this is a Michigan Wolverines reunion and Tyler Mt who had a super good offensive Edge in the Michigan Wolverine system found a way to stick around in the NHL even if his point production was nowhere near as effective as it was was with the Wolverines Tyler Mt is a buzzsaw energy Winger that does not back down he goes and goes and goes and goes and on the penalty kill he goes even harder a bunch of these goals that he had scored with the Vancouver Canucks a bunch of them were short-handed like no biggie he’s just stealing the puck at the blue line coming in on breakaways and scoring no biggie he’s got that through the legs goal that he pulls off once in a while out of these four goals that he had scored for the canx in the 2020 playoff run like all of them were super super important and he had two multi-goal games to allow the Vancouver Canucks to beat the St Louis Blues in games five and six in that run there is no end to the love that Vancouver fans have for Tyler Mt this guy at 25 years old was super effective at 29 I have no doubt that he still got that dog in him and for the Detroit Red Wings look you can say that they’re prioritizing more depth guys over guys with higher ceilings like yanan berren for example but at the end of the day if bergren does decide to leave if he gets traded you need players like this to fill up the bottom of your lineup you need the Christian fisers you need the Tyler Ms we said this in the Christian Fisher video but you need to have a hockey team that’s able to try 82 games in a season and you won’t always get 82 games worth of of full trying effort out of a team it’s inevitable you need to have that but you’re not going to get that so when you have guys like this that at the very least will be putting 100% effort in every shift it just bolsters up the morale and the pacing of your team just by that little much and sometimes that little much is all you need to win a game it’s all you need to win a shift it’s all you need to win a face off it’s all you need to score a goal Tyler m is more than just a regular bottom six bottom feeder $800,000 guy he’s more than that and Vancouver conu fans like myself will go to the ends of the Earth and back saying that so so for Steve Eiserman this is the best contract he has signed in this free agency period Tyler M ladies and gentlemen is a Detroit Redwing if you don’t believe me just watch go out there and wait for the first few games where Tyler m is on the PK where he is on that fourth line and and he is going to make you believe Tyler M ladies and gentlemen my favorite new s of the Detroit Red Wings let me know your thoughts in the comments SE below I hope you enjoyed this FSH 99 and bye

  1. Two of our biggest problems last year were team defense and playing without passion when Larkin was out: this signing helps improve both issues. We just got tougher to play against on the cheap. Welcome home Tyler!

  2. The Yzerplan is coming together 4 top forwards and 1 NHL calibre defenceman and then bums all the way down the line up and in goal. If this doesn’t equal a Stanley cup I don’t know what will.

  3. Detroit should always have a grind line.

Letting rookies and replacement level players figure skate around on the 4th line for 6 minutes a game, learning how to play losing hockey, is stupid.

  4. All good to hear. I just have ask, if he so good, why was he available and why were we able to get at that price? Lego is right though, every team needs this type of players, but I'm not telling Wings anything they don't already know. We loved The Grind Line.

  5. A few players like this rub off on the other young players, especially when practicing against them or a guy like this starts taking your minutes over a lack of effort.

  6. Tyler Motte is not an elite player. He has had so many concussions. Time for him to step away. It’s really sad that he can’t see it
