start for the twins this season it’ll be his third career start against this Detroit Tigers ball club and you know you want to include that earlier one that was the season debut in April he was lights out dominant against this team throwing six Innings allowing just one run as the 3-2 rolled back up the middle karea waiting for it picked it up to his left throws to First and there’s one away so one down for Riley green he’s over for his last 12 he lifts this ball in the air to shallow center field buckon racing in still coming Dives for it and Byron’s got it Simon loving it Byron second batter in giving it a try head first diving sliding and making the play for out number two when he is healthy in center field he is stateoftheart here’s Mark Canon swung on and dribbled towards Third Base a charge at third for Roy picks it up throws to First in time and the in is over 19 pitch first inning for Simeon Woods Richardson but he sets down the side the twins have been outstanding against Lefty pitchers so far this year yeah we could say that the twins are the best team against left-handers but they’re going up against one of the best in all of baseball ter scoble he’s been tremendous for Detroit this season he’ll make the start his last time out against the twins was also in that early April series 5Ks in five scoreless innings line shot on one hop to Second Keith shaded up the middle fields and flips to can one up and one down great numbers against lefties his batting average alone at 311 fourth best in the American League entering plate tonight round ball up the middle that’s where cold Keith is he back hands it to the right of second turns and throws to Cana two up two down on two ground balls two down for Royce Lewis 3-2 got him oh change up low and in and off the plate step on the bag just worked an eight pitch 1 two three third backto back base hits and here come the twins here in the bottom of the third inning farmer turned around a 98 mph fast ball for his single that was a change up that Margot jumped on and hammered to left field scoel just asked Rogers to come out I believe so they’re going to talk over the pitch type here maybe let’s see see kind of weed like little shoulder thing there or neck something you see his left shoulder went up as after he threw almost like a twitch right but the way he was holding his head it looked like he was favoring his neck but again we don’t know and we won’t know until he finishes the game scoble sets pitch number 11 got him with a fast ball bottom of the strike zone how about that 98 freezes K this is kind of what the twins have been doing to the Top Flight starters that they face just wear them down early with a whole lot of pitches even though they’ve yet to score a run pitch count now at 55 for scoble kareah but backed up by Lewis at third and the tigers are 90 ft away from tying this game as things have unraveled quickly for Woods Richardson Ryan kler trying to just hit a ball over the drawn in in field and tie the game kler drives it left field Castro can only watch how about it Ryan kler with his first of the year and the Tigers have out of nowhere taken the lead here at Target Field what a moment for Ryan krier’s second career home run Terk scoble ground ball Third Base Ella from the ground got him oh what a play by Cana on the stretch as well but Ella break dancing for oute number one well Danny send the double by Lewis to Plate the 2 twins runs it’s been six up six down Margo sends this one to left center field deep in the Gap by dud going back at the track this game is tied a two out solo home run from Manuel Margo and it’s a 3-3 game here in the fifth 20 straight games with the Home Run Danny that extending the franchise record and what an advat for Manny Margo Al farmer is playing third Willie Castro playing second Royce Lewis is no longer in this game coming from the twins Royce Lewis left the game with left growing tightness he’s considered dayto day so we will obviously have an update on him after the game but tough news hatte seeing Royce Lewis out of the game with an injury Max Kepler against the left at Terk scoble swinging a Miss wiped him out with the slider bottom of the strike zone the pitch count goes to 87 this is almost surely the last inning for TK scoel the wind up the one two is swinging a Miss pitch and he just finished it by putting an exclamation point on a six inning start with strikeout number seven terrific change up wipes out Santana right-hander will vest does indeed take over here in the seventh facing buckston Jeffers and Castro in a three- three tie sliced to right in the corner this one fading and that will land Fair inside the line and now kicks over the sidewall and instead of a triple that will cost bucks to 90 ft it’s a leadoff automatic double to begin the seventh inning and that ball gets away from the catcher Rogers and Byron strolls into third that was a great read by B no hesit a he saw that ball in the dirt basically took off immediately that one just skipped by Rogers in field in Jeffers up the middle buckon coming home Keith comes home the slide he safe ball po free Jeffers is safe buckon scores twins have a 4-3 lead well the twins will have Carlos kareah leading off against Bo brisy here in the eighth inning they lead 4-3 looking for some insurance kareah swinging a drive left fielded deep Beck it goes and gone there’s some insurance here the eighth inning second deck Blast from Korea and it’s 53 Panther the air for Carlos Furnishing those All-Star credentials different month same Carlos twins have a 5-3 lead and Joan Durant BT will try and finish this one off tonight slice to right Kepler over Max will make the catch on the line that would have been a fair ball he just knows every corner everywhere to go at this ballpark Tigers down to their final out and they’ll stand here at Target Field I BYU Last Hope for the Tigers two for his last 27 he struck him out and this one is over the twins beat the Tigers 53 and the twins are a season best 11 games over now 48 and 37 as Rocco and the boys with a victory here to begin this last home stand before the All-Star break a 5-3 win
