I’m here for chip on the shoulder Mitch

  1. I’d love a slimmed down Mitch. And I know we are trying to get him a backup so it’s not all on him but that’d help with injury risks.

Also for a backup, weird thought. Maybe we go out of the box and grab a big that had the funniest contract ever. And who also was our second best player during the first round series. Paul Reed! /s

  2. Mitch disrespect has been wild. People acting like this dude isn’t a starter. Talking about his ability to stay healthy is fair, but acting like he isn’t talented is crazy.

  3. Going to get -karmad

But let’s see if he can stay healthy before we start talking about chips on shoulder.

Gangsters move in silence . Randle didn’t talk when he blew up with us . Brunsons didn’t say shit before he took his game to the moon.

I like Mitch . But until I see him stay healthy , and actually for fucks sake develop even ONE post move I could care less about his chip on the shoulder .

Show us , don’t talk about it . Like our best players , and the best players in the league do . Giannis didn’t talk about getting jacked . He just did it . Kobe never talked about it . Just put the work in the gym and court .

  4. The talent is there. It’s just hard to see a talent like iHart leave in free agency. And it’s scary to be so dependent on a role player. But at the end of the day, Mitch is still a great center and he even adds some things that IHart doesn’t. For example, the defense of our starting 5 is going to be our calling card and it’s better with Mitch. Similar with rebounding.

  5. People here are clowns. Trade Randle for peanuts. Trade Mitch now !!! We have the best team we have had in decades with more assets than we have had in ages. Stop this clown shit people.

  6. the problem with that is thibs wants him to be more fundamental and not take risks like young mitch did. the size also helps with banging down low for rebounds. its a catch 22 but im sure there’s a middle ground

  7. I’d love for him to make a slam dunk appearance for the one time.

He’d clear whatever Sims gave us that one time lmao.

  8. I saw how special Mitch was his rookie season. I always said his ceiling could be a  Tyson Chandler type of player.

In the beginning, I said some of his injuries are because he’s too skinny. But because he gained all that weight in one off-season, now some of his injuries are because he’s too heavy. It also  took away some of his mobility and quickness.

Mitch has to drop some of that weight he gained. He can drop like 15lbs and still keep his strength. This would definitely increase his mobility plus put less stress on his body. Help him stay on the court longer.

The only thing I knock Mitch for is his free throw shooting. WTF, lol. It’s actually gotten worse over time. SMH.

  10. There are only three things I want for Mitch:

    1) to stay healthy.

    2) to be able to consistently catch the ball when he’s passed to

    3) to be happy.

The man is undervalued on offense. He doesn’t need to be the guy scoring. His offensive rebound game is incredibly dominant. He extends possessions regularly and requires defensive attention from that perspective alone. I love him as a lob threat and honestly don’t feel like we need so much more offensive firepower out of him. As it stands we have five guys on our team last year who averaged 15 ppg or more. We don’t need to be worrying about getting more points from Mitch.

  11. If i had his $$$ and this team in NY, id shoot free throws all day in my private gym.

  12. he’s always got a chip, complaining about doing cardio. still never developed a single skill other than being tall.

  13. Calling it now. Mitch is gonna be a championship Center 💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿
