Chicago Bears Position Rankings PFF Secondary Ranked NOT in TOP 10

the Chicago Bears secondary is incredibly underrated today we’re briefly discussing where they rank in the NFL as there’s a Hot Topic among Bears fans right now as PFF released their rankings for secondaries in the NFL and the Bears secondary was not even ranked in the top 10 they barely even made the top 20 coming in at number 19 overall if you go on Twitter and look at the topic it basically insinuates PFF may be doing it as some kind of tactic to increase engagement and it’s definitely gotten Bears fans riled up let’s go ahead and discuss pff’s rankings for the Bears because other than the secondary they’ve been very favorable towards this roster they ranked this as having the ninth best offensive tackle duo in the entire league ranking both of our starting tackles in the top 32 placing Braxton Jones at number 31 and Darnell Wright at number 32 there are a total of 64 starting tackles in the NFL having both of ours ranked in the top 32 as well as both guys being 25 years old or younger really the Bears haven’t been in a position like this in a long time we have potential book in tackles and on top of that we have a guy we drafted in the third round Karan megga G who has the upside to battle Braxton Jones for that left tackle job and provide the team with even more upside going forward on top of that they ranked both of our starting guards inside the top 32 as well in Kevin Jenkins and Nate Davis that’s quite a difference from the offensive line rankings we’ve had recently we just need to figure out the center spot but further more PFF was very favorable towards us in other rankings as well they put us as the only team in the NFL with three wide receivers ranked in the top 32 placing DJ Moore Keenan Allen and and Romo dun all as potential number one Targets in the NFL on top of that PFF ranked this is the only team in the National Football League with two tight ends in the top 20 with Cole KT coming in at number 11 and Gerald Everett coming in at number 19 so I just don’t know what’s going on here they’re very favorable of our tackles guards wide receivers and tight ends but really down on our secondary which I think is the biggest strength on our entire roster my tweet today said they Expos themselves and don’t know Ball but realistically where do you guys think the Bears secondary should be ranked there is a lot of untapped potential still there that maybe some people don’t see jaquin brisker Kyler Gordon Tyreek Stevenson and others still have not really broken out yet they have a ton of untapped potential so maybe it’s cool that we fly under the radar right now but this secondary means business every single member of this defensive backfield has the potential to have a pro bowl caliber season every single one Jaylen Johnson Tyreek Stevenson Kyler Gordon jaquin brisker and Kevin Bard they all have that kind of ability and they have the upside to be the best secondary in football they haven’t quite taken that step yet but to me they are easily a top 10 unit I’m with jaquin brisker here I say this is not a big deal but the Bears will show teams this year that they are one of the best secondaries in the league and will be ranked much higher next year let me know what you guys think please remember to hit that like button for me and until next time Bear Down

  1. This is ridiculous! I can be a little biased at sometimes but come on, I think our secondary is at least top 5! I think they're underestimating Brisker and Gordon!

  2. Our secondary is super deep and easily a top 5 unit . Haters do not want to give our Chicago Bears their flowers . It's all good , just watch and see 🤫

  3. If u add in that PFF has our DL ranked poorly , one would think they would give secondary even more props. Also counting the 1st half of season is a bit misleading

  4. Top ten is how I see it. Bear fans saw the big improvement when Sweat arrived, but my guess is the critics still recall our historic, record-breaking 3 games choke when we had big leads in the 4th quarter.

  5. kinda sad honestly. PFF seems to be going by just their own ratings which are sus at best (looking at you Mustipher.) our two main cb's were tied for 8 in total INTS , Tystevens was 3rd over in pass break ups with 13 and 3rd in forced incompletions overall. so to say teams like the raiders are better are just nuts.

  6. They will be pissed at the disrespect, and will make opposing offenses pay the price. Top 10 defense with one more year of playing together, rookies in the 2nd year and solid depth.

  7. All ya have to do is look at the second half stats JJ & Ty were top 10 players each! Pass defended grades along with turnovers.
So basically whatever they’re smoking, I want some!
