Orioles vs. Mariners Highlights (7/3/24) | MLB Highlights

baseball with a roof open at T-Mobile Park which was the home to last year’s allstar game and tonight we’ll be home to a couple of Allstar starters gunar Henderson and adley Rutman named just a few hours ago for Logan Gilbert he hasn’t received a lot of offensive support this season he’s been outstanding he should be on the American League Allstar team Anderson All-Star starter in the American League at shortstop there’s one out Gilbert ready the wind up and and the one-1 pitch swing and a pop up into shallow left field Luke rayley coming in on the Run he’s there and klunky makes the catch so two up and two down and oarn will take a slider low his batting eye has been exceptional this year M castle with a swing and a pop into right field back it up a step Dom canzone now a step to his right he’s there and he makes a catch and that’s going to end the inning Ste Kramer making his first start since May 20th at St Louis see if he can throw strikes which is what he usually does Crawford slices one the other way and Austin Hayes comes charging in to make the catch well there you go base hit robbed by the orial defense and J Roos Works a walk first Bas runner for the Mariners pette bat second most strikeouts in the American League F Raleigh at 100 and there’s number 101 Dean Kramer backed into the strike out column with a high fast B there’s Luke rayley puts one up in the a to Center Cedric Mullins with some room out there makes the catch couple of fly outs and a strike out Kramer throws a scoreless first in his return to the big leades Logan has the velocity on his heater at 97 mph swinging a Miss Logan strikes him out his first K of the night and one away for Baltimore here in the top half of the second oh two strikes did he go he did another strike out L at two down second inning Roos and he has been playing an outstanding third base for the Mariners a has really been something special no question rammer a strike out and a walk but a scoreless bottom of the first inning trying to get rid of Mariner first baseman to begin the first and he will with a backup cutter for strike three the wind up and the pitch the Pano swing and a miss at a splitter for strike three and down goes pako and that is strikeout number three for Dean Kramer jio he is putting in the work that’s the least of your words working on all the right things that’s what we’re talking about G up ball G up Mull’s right there at the fence he can’t buy a break he had a 399 he needed 402 dug on it Cedric Mullin leads off the top of the third Logan Gilbert into the motion the pitch swinging a Fly ball out towards left field rayley angling back and the Mariners left fielder is underneath it with two hands to make the catch for out number one at 3-2 is off the plate Ramona Rus has the orial second walk the next pitch swing and a miss he blows it right past gunar Henderson on a silver platter center cut at 98 by miles an hour walked it wow that was a pretty good take that was barely out of the strike zone slider Logan doesn’t like it he thought it was a strike most Logan has walked in a game this year four against Texas at Texas Gilbert who has walked three tonight walked three batters over his previous eight starts combined that spanned almost 54 Innings as now the Orioles have a runner in scoring position for the first time tonight oh her tags the ball the other way to left Center Rodriguez got a great jump but it tips off his glove orus is in the score Rutman charging behind him he is in there and Ryan o’n goes the other way just barely eluding the grasp of Julio Rodriguez here is Ryan Mount Castle the pitch Mount Castle smokes one the other way for a base hit Ryan mountcastle scores Ryan o’ herd and it’s a three-run third for the birds and that Ball’s blistered up the alley and right center by sandir Rodriguez gets to a before the warning track so Mount Castle stops at third two balls of two strikes couple in a board swing and a miss puts an into it but Damage Done three runs on three hits and a couple left as we head to the bottom of the third inning and Dean Kramer with a little run support behind him three nothing Orioles strike count number four painted to the outside well 93 loan away that’s that’s going to work strike three 95 and Dean gets a little extra he’s punched out back to back Mariners 01 on the ground soft ground ball and right there is Ryan o’n takes a half step to his left applies the tag to the base and the inning ends once again the Orioles keep the line moving with two outs and that brings up gunar Henderson which is not what you’re looking for the 3-2 again swing it a Miss for strike three buried a cutter in on his knuckles and gunar Henderson strikes out for the second time tonight facing Logan Gilbert he has been lighting it up after he had a battle and a strike out with Dylan Moore all first pitch strikes the rest of the way five strikeouts for Dean KR Ry was the first of them and there’s the sixth yeah I mean it’s it’s almost like a little bit of a screw ball it turns it over Bano just a 117 batting average with two strikes and he will strike out here another bananas splits as Kramer punches out seven in the first four and here is Ryan o’hern who had the big hit the two-run double for Baltimore in the third inning that ball blasted up for the there to right field and a home run for OAR the first long ball of the series and the Orioles 140th of the year he may not be an Allstar starter but he better be an Allstar Ryan o herd makes it for nothing and Julio Rodriguez looking to jum start the offense they have had a hot Julio really been special up the middle Henderson that’ll be a base hit great effort by Henderson good speed up the base back by Julio there goes Julio it’s a slow ground ball wide of Dean Jordan Westberg underhand it to First sprayed over to Second Westberg makes the catch another really good pitch likes the ball out over the plate jams him and a swing and a miss strike three Crawford goes down be of the K once again and it is first start back Dean Kramer five scoreless innings against the Seattle Mariners Westberg has struck out twice so far this evening the curve and the splitter Westberg bouncing ball toward the middle and that will kick into left field Westberg is going to try to go for two ry’s throw skips away now that is aggressive well they force you because of their speed factor to make the perfect play 87 pitches now for Gilbert The onew Swinging a Miss he goes chasing after a split finger and there is out number one six strikeout tonight from Logan Gilbert Here Comes Scott he’s going to the left he to face Mullen with the runner in scoring position we’ve got a pitching change not the typical Logan Gilbert Knight couple of looks at second base now the pitch swing going to fly ball into about medium depth right field kzone Creeps in a few strides and he makes the catch Westberg has to hold at second base 21 swinging a Fly ball harmlessly hit into straightaway Shadow center field Julio Coen and he makes the catch round number three so saso retires to two he faces he strands that double at second righ flips around to the right side for the first time this evening struck out twice facing Kramer Cal rides this one really well deep left side of field looking on that baby is gone into the P home run for K righ is 15 RBI number 51 MERS are on the board now the Home Run and RBI leader on the ball club that was a resounding Smash If not reard o’ Hearn tonight good time to start right here pitch strike three called saso takes care of him with a sinker down and Away beautiful night here you hear the crowd urging on Jorge palano he has been in a miserable slump he’s dying to get out of it get down ball get down it does face hit for palano man did he need that and a good start to the [Applause] seven and we talk about hidden being contagious to get some good energy in the building fans rooting on these Mariners a fast ball instead and he buron a fast ball gets the Chase and another punch out for the Orioles that’ll bring up Dylan Moore stuck out looking in a soft lineer to Second more golfs the ball down the line and right could be trouble and it’s not Sun there with a sliding grab to end the inning and save a run well what 13 home runs give me some leather where will go to a new pitcher and his left-hander seel perz is blooped Into His short right field west second baseman moves out and makes a two-handed catch Mitch Garber his wrist obviously feeling better he’s going to pinch H for Roos Line Drive welcome back Mitch Garver after being hit on the wrist one out single good count for Cal two and0 slicing Drive Mullins right there two out 02 pitch struck him out 11th time the maners have struck out right now might be easier climbing that mountain and getting some runs and Craig Kimbrell now takes over sold possession of fourth in major league history he has climbed up and up the ladder board all year long his 438th save only mariana rivera Trevor Hoffman and Lee Smith are ahead of Craig Kimbrell on the alltime saves leaderboard

  1. Need someone (anyone) to take some pressure off Julio right now – the guy is in quick sand and the hyper focus and expectation on him can’t be helping. HAVE to bring in some league average / above bats at the deadline πŸ”±

  2. BAHAHA mariners, their announcers, n mlb channel! THANK YOU BALTIMORE ORIOLES! OORAH HOUSTON ASTROS, DODGERS, N ANGELS!!!! GET SOME!!! BAHAHAHAHA rangers n mariners!!!!

  3. Bro Julio is the most overpaid useless player I’ve seen since tuning into Mariners games. Absolutely useless. If you see him come up in a clutch moment always expect him to fail. Unbelievable.

  4. Fire Scott! Fire the GM! Fire the ballboy! The most team Ks and by FAAAAR the least HITS in the league.

This entire Mariner organization is putrid, lazy, and uninspired year after year—it makes me want to PUKE!

  5. Another embarrassing, pathetic display by the Mariners offense highlighted by a home run from an inconsistent Raleigh. How hard is it to sit on top of a mediocre AL West and keep a division lead? Apparently if you're the M's, it is if you have Houston in your division.
Will Scott and Jerry do something and stop being obsessed with this annual mediocrity? This team may not even make the playoffs for crying out loud!

  6. The M's need to start making some changes and putting some heat under some people. Polanco should be DFA'd – there is nothing he is doing that Ryan Bliss can't (for less). Crawford needs to have a couple of days off – there is almost no production out of the leadoff spot right now. Some additional hitting coaches need to be let go. Just a train wreck of an offense. M's will probably be out of first by the weekend and we can start tearing this apart. Go M's!
