Colin Rea is the first Brewers pitcher to go seven shutout innings at Coors Field since, wait for it, Chris Capuano on August 18, 2005. He’s just the second to ever do it with Milwaukee. [via Curt Hogg]

  1. I felt bad for Capuano. He was really good and the team wasn’t very exciting.

  2. Still remember the year he started with 5 wins in his first 5 starts and was getting some Cy Young buzz, only to not win a single start the rest of the season

  3. Colin Rea is such a dark horse. Nobody has any idea who he is or where he came from, but he has been pretty solid for the past year
