8 years later and we’re better than ever without this dude. I don’t hate him, we all make mistakes but he did us absolutely dirty. What’s even worse is he was willing to Sign and trade for the warriors but not OKC.
Joining a 73 win team that had 3 all nba level players and the Back to back mvp in Stephen curry how the fuck do you expect to get respect? You quite Literally ruined competitive basketball for 3 straight years and proceeded to alter you’re legacy Lebron’s legacy and Stephen curry‘s legacy

I remember I was looking at my baby shower registry. My phone went off and I saw the news and I threw my registry on the floor in a fit of rage 🤣

Managed to fuck both Us and Cleveland at the same time
“It’s not that you left, it’s who you left for” I didnt want him to leave at all but he could’ve AT LEAST done a sign and trade to Washington to team up with Wall (at the time John was arguably one of the best PGs) and give us Beal and picks in return. We’re better off now than ever before so it is what it is at this point, just crazy how much it changed the next several years.
I can still remember exactly where I was. I was heartbroken
