happy birthday America we’ve got a good oldfashioned baseball game and a good oldfashioned standoff you don’t see these much in Major League Baseball anymore but Graham mashcraft Carson spires three Yankees on the other side and of course you know teammates help pick guys up Brent suder comes out and towels off Ashcraft helps them out they’ve been at attention for a good five to 10 minutes at this point that is on tape you’re looking live now as it’s just two Yankees it’s down to two Yankees and Ash crap Inspire still standing at attention crew chief Allan Porter is now signaling to them to get off the field to no avail and he’s still searching or signaling them to get off the field no such l baseball let’s go upstairs the guys that we call it that’s John sadak and Chris wch oh thank you Jim I can hear Hulk Hogan on the guitar right now the real American standoff and there’s a referee in the middle of the Ring Alan Porter getting all worked up right now it’s kind of humorous and interesting all at the same time time he’s walking over to one pleading pleas to get off the field and uh I don’t know whether he’s going to threaten to eject those guys I know one thing that the guys on the red side there will they be standing there if Aaron judge come to the plate uh probably not and now the Yankees take the field and the standoff continues and the umpires Converge All four are chatting on the circle the standoff continues to linger right on the track as Marcus strowman jogs out for the Yankees to warm up and now our third base umpire Jim wolf is over and chatting with spers in Ashcraft who will blink first well Jim wolf knows personally how interesting baseball players can be because his brother P May pitch in the major leagues for quite a long time Randy Wolf he’s going over and say I know all about it boys but you got to go now Alan Porter has left the field he’s gone up the tunnel presumably to the the umpire’s room I don’t know uh exactly if that has any kind of official Duty or not but we’ll uh we’ll keep you informed maybe he comes out with a rolling cart and he just like takes them right off the field himself if any umpire would to be built for that it’s Jim wolf to help he might bench more than most players and and just knowing Graham ashcraft’s personality I mean this is on brand for him having some fun and the as well Jonathan par the first base umpire trying to intercede on the home side as strowman has still yet to throw a pitch and we have still not seen home plate man of crew chief Allen Porter since he ducked down the tunnel right Beyond where Jim day is nestled Outfield side of the red Dugout so everyone’s just kind of standing watching and waiting Jim what are you seeing down there from Allen quarter well he beelined it the umpire’s room is down here hopefully he didn’t go to get his taser it might take that to get them off the field at this point well that did happen in Cincinnati at one point correct not sure what Alan Porter is tending to could be a human thing if you know here he comes he is racing out of the tunnel and is about ready to rejoin us so here comes our crew chief at home plate Manu has been gone for a couple of minutes things haven’t changed yet now spes peels away Ashcraft remains it’s two onone it’s Ashcraft by his Lonesome representing the Reds I have full faith in Graham Ashcraft Marcus strowman is now warming up the Yankee Outfield is standing in bewilderment and perhaps some rooting interest as well on each side John did you have play-by-play of a standoff on your resume tape yeah Alex BL Doo had a great one against the the Pirates but we weren’t there in person that’s when we were calling games remotely uhhuh I think this is my first extended inperson standoff and here comes Jonathan India to the circle he’s ready to go and they’re not going they’re stilling on the track this has got to be a record right oh oh and Graham Ashcraft wins the game before the game grab Ashcraft claims the standoff [Laughter] [Applause] now seeking a sweep already one victory for a red [Applause] starter would not [Applause] yield now the Yankees tapped out against Ashcraft left

A six minute standoff between the Cincinnati Reds and New York Yankees prior to some Fourth of July action!
